Great item for the price

Despite some negative comments I bought these reeds, arrived well packed, all intact. There is nothing wrong with the length, thickness or quality of these as mentioned in other comments and I will be ordering these again

I bought these to replace the reeds that came with a set of diffusers I had bought, where the 'reeds' were basically elongated toothpicks, that didn't absorb the scent, to diffuse it through the room.These reeds do the trick beautifully, and I'm really happy with my purchase - which was a great price btw!

Not overly impressed with these. I have both the black and the natural colour. Both are the same apart from colour. They are very bendy, and shorter than what I normally use. Too early to say whether they perform better than my normal ones. I wouldn't but these again

Obviously the packaging of diffusers with oil and reeds is expensive and they are often bought for gifts. It would seem that reed diffusers have overtaken potpouri which was big in the 80s! I'm not happy with having natural oils under a candle, mostly because I worry about leaving a room with a tea light on. I have also tried an electric oil warmer, but the oils burn if you are not careful. I have not tried the type that puffs spray into the room, but I want to get away from gagets and using more plugs if possible. These reeds are excellent if you buy reed diffuser pots (wide enough rim to get reeds in; you can buy them separately). Some people make their own diffuser oils and there are recipes on the net and crafters who will show you on Google. I have made some, but prefer the fragrances which are made by professional fragrance houses. Natural oils, but they have blended them well and I enjoy them. These reeds seem to work well, and you simply turn them over if you want to diffuse more fragrance. I have reed diffusers in lots of rooms, and even in a large wardrobe (obviously not good for oils to come into contact with fabric, so you need space).

rather than having to turn rees to get the smell of the scent reeds can clog up so after turning a couple of time its easy to replace reeds and have plety as a back up.
