good value, will come in useful for replacing bulbs in a couple of lamps I have which use these size bulbs

The price is right, the product is right, but one has blown after a week!

I am sorry I bought these bulbs. They lasted between a day or a week before they blew. When they blew the bowl was very hot and became detached from the metal fitting. I had to disconnect the power and use pliers to remove it from the lamp. There was also a distinct smell of burning. A complete waste of money.

OK and do what they say.

2 out of the 5 I have used blew up. A bit scary as there was a distinct smell of burning. One used in ceiling light and another 2 in wall lights. The first one blew straight away and tripped circuit breaker. The next one worked okay but smell of burning. The bulbs were used in 2 separate houses so unlikely to be wiring.
