I didn't give much thought to purchasing these speakers because I wasn't looking for amazing sound reproduction and I don't plan on having any rave's in my apartment... I just was tired of having to wear headphones any time I wanted to hear any sound coming from my computer. So I figured some super inexpensive "throw-away" speakers would be good enough and these were about the right price point so I got them.And now, after that "setup" paragraph you might be expecting me to say, "Then I heard them and they blew me away!!! My neighbors thought that Slayer was having a live performance in my living room and they came over looking for autographs." No, no, no,... not even. These are cheap little speakers and they sound like cheap little speakers, BUT as far as cheap little speakers go, these little guys have indeed impressed me at least slightly.For one thing, each speaker not only has the main driver that faces you, but also has a passive radiator facing down. I don't know how much, if any, advantage there is to having a passive radiator in a speaker this small. But it's there. Kinda cool, I guess.I figured the lights were just gimmicky and kinda silly... and they are. But I gotta say, when the rest of the room is dark they do glow all pretty like.Only complaints are: the wires from the volume gizmo to the speakers could have been longer, no big deal. And maybe more importantly, the wires should NOT be white. They should be black. This way it doesn't look like someone spilled a plate of spaghetti on your desk.

Nice little speakers!!! I’m an ESL teacher and, since I do small groups and don’t have a smart board like many bigger classrooms, I bought these to attach to my school-provided laptop to improve sound for the times when we watch a quick video clip! They amplify quite well, especially for the price! I just ordered another set for the other building that I also teach in! Not sure they would amplify loud enough in a huge room, but they sound much, much better than the laptop speaker...loud and clear sound! Perfect for what I needed!

I needed something small for work where I could quickly turn the volume down if someone called me, and I didn't want to spend a lot. These are fabulous; much better than I anticipated, to be honest. The volume goes up very high so there should be no issue about not being able to hear anything. I have it very low and can hear it perfectly. You can also independently turn the lights on or off. I would recommend these to anyone.

Don't expect the quality of say, Bose, but for what they are they are good, fun little speakers. And they do sound pretty darn good.

It is loud and great quality . I live in a studio and it can be heard so clearly from every corner of the apartment . You can adjust the color settings to on and off , so don't worry about the annoying radiations of light blinding you !

I was looking for some small computer speakers for my new desk top. Just something to listen to music while I work on school projects. For the price they're exactly what I was looking for but when I read the description, I was under the impression that I could change light modes. They work well .

I bought this for my computer so I could watch Netflix without using my headphones. They’re suppressingly loud and I love them they’re super cute and vey small and easy to hide. It’s a usb and headphone jack to use it which isn’t what I wanted but I love it and learned to deal with it. If you want something cute and loud this is it.

I love it ...sometimes i feel like seeing the cute colors and sometimes i dont sound is great cant beat the price. hopefully they last long...cause i love em.
