Patio Roofs & Gazebos: A Complete Guide to Planning, Design, and Construction

This is a good magazine for somebody wanting to build a gazebo, however the Sunset Magazine edition I'm looking for had a simple free plan for the one gazebo that was on the cover. I originally purchased my magazine around 1991, give or take a year either way, and let a neighbor borrow it who moved and never returned my magazine. I'm still looking for the particular magazine edition, as there were lots of gazebos, arches and such that are not in the magazine I received in this recent purchase.

This book is well written giving the essential informations that we needed on gazebos! I do recommend it!

This book was good for simple, basic overheads for patios and/or decks. It gave some limited plans and recommendations for lumber. It also listed a variety of roofing materials but was somewhat unspecific on the pros and cons of each. We liked what the book did offer, but finished it feeling rather unsatisfied.

This book helped me to design our gazebo and will be great help with a couple other projects we have in mind

For construction is a really good guide, also for beginners like me. However, they show some pictures and reference that we want to have the drawings, but then they show drawings for a different design, just a couple of cases but disappointing
