They worked well and are good for purpose

These, once I had worked out which ones I was after, were a God send and saved me from the alternative of buying a new bed. 7 of these clips had broken over 3 years, and I used carpet tape to secure the timber laths.Not pretty, but it worked until the fittings on the other side gave way one at a time.A visit to Dreams again, where they told me these clips I required were not an item they would supply, and that I had to get in touch with who made it (Dreams) at head office of Dreams. The sales person told me the chances of them supplying the spares was unheard of in his experience.He also reminded me from their computer that my bed was 5 years old, but my mattress, which is an orthopedic one, being expensive and only 2 years old, may suffice. MAY?Too damned true it would "suffice".The beds were all wooden slatted until I found the one which was not, by grovelling around on all 4s for a while.The new one was called a divan and sans mattress it was still £355.I swore and walked out. Being Scottish I would sooner sleep in my old military sleeping bag on my lounge floor before letting myself be conned in such a manner.Home on the PC I looked up Bed slats, & lo and behold a stack appeared, at all sort of prices from dirt cheap to very expensive, for 2 or 50 BUT you had to get the measurements spot on. Amazon had it all covered.I dug out my old calipers and other measuring gear I had kept, from back in the days when I made my own parts to build or rebuild British Motorbikes. (Sold the lathes etc but kept my measuring gear). All in inches, but google does an "App" to convert to mm etc.I measured everything 3 times (old habits die hard) and found these ones here made by HusseinBOLT were spot on, so I sent for 22. That is 10 each side and 2 spares. A total cost of £16 plus 50p postage.Being as that saved me around £370 including the delivery of the new bed and another £35 to have the old one removed, makes these the bargain of the CENTURY.These feel sturdier and thicker than the originals by quite a margin. They also weight TWICE as much to confirm they are more substantial than the originals as supplied by Dreams.Job sorted. Job done. Excellent clips indeed HussienBOLT AND Amazon, bless their cotton socks.You saved this Old Scotsman a fortune & allowed him a decent nights sleep on his bed instead of the floor. ha haaaaaaaa.Thank you.

Came quickly what I needed as I would have to have bought another bed if I didn't purchase these but please bear in mind that is only one end the other end is a different fitting so if you need both ends you need to buy a set
