Apart from the battery fitting being a bit fiddly, these work really well and make setting up cutting tools and measuring cut angles really simple and precise.

Ideal size and accuracy for my DIY jobs. I also bought the Nesoi mitre protractor to compare them. Both very similar with accuracy.

Edit - so in fairness to the company, they contacted me and refunded the cost of the battery. (And offered a full refund as well). The product is decent, and does exactly what it needs to do. Based on that and some good customer service happy to go with 5 stars. Felt somewhat disappointed it didn’t come with a CR3032 battery. Not the sort of thing I have lying around the house normally. I’m sure other items of similar price would come with a battery.

bought to replace a similar one that broke it works perfectly and is repeatably accurate....the downside is the impossibly fiddly battery replacement that requires three hands !.... why ????

This unit which I use mainly for woodwork, is very accurate and therefore extremely useful. The readings are identical to my magnetic saw angle meter. I agree with others, that changing the battery is a bit of a pain but I imagine the battery (CR2032) will last a very long time as with other devices such as calipers and depth gauges etc. so not a reason to give it a lower rating as at least it is very firmly latched into place. A pair of tweezers certainly helps and solves the difficulty factor.

Bought this to help measure angles on a stair project rebuild. Good quality and easy to use. Did not disappoint.
