Play & Grow Mortimer The Moose

This was a present for our 6 month old Niece who already has one of this range of products. We fell in love with it as soon as it was delivered and she fell in love with it as soon as it was unwrapped! The teether antlers are fantastic to chew - sorry to 'gum', he is a good size for her to grasp easily and the different colours, patterns and textures are good to talk to her about. Overall a lovely toy for children of around this age.

My son loved this. He chewed the life out of the ears and all of my mummy mates thought it was a beautiful toy and I couldn't agree more. Great colours and textures and I love the fact that my son as a moose to play with.

This is one of the very few Lamaze toys that actually has every activity and noise they spread across their range. It makes a great present for others or for your own little one. I had other Lamaze toys but some wouldn't have the chewing parts and others didn't have the extra squeak noises. This is simply perfect its got more different textiles on it compared to other in the range, at this price its a steal

After initially receiving a damaged item, we were really glad we persevered. Our grandchildren absolutely love Mortimer. He is a colourful and happy looking chap offering multiple touch and manipulative play. A firm favourite!

A great toy. Originally bought one in the Usa for my granddaughter and wanted another for my new grandson as she loved hers so much. Only available online but good service although p and p was a bit pricy.

One of the best purchases I have made for our daughter, now 5 months old. Mortimer has a great variety of textures and sounds for your baby to explore - each foot crinkles, rattles or jingles; the tummy has a squeaker; the scarf and ears crinkle; and the rings for the tail and antlers are great for chewing when teething. From when our baby was about 9 weeks old,we hung Mortimer from the Baby Gym and he immediately became the toy she would reach for. The legs and tail rings are easy for babies to grab hold of. He feels reassuringly well-made and robust. Ideal to attach to the car seat, Mortimer now travels everywhere with us!

Really pleased with this so cute and cuddly, and lots of textures and noises. Liked it because a Moose is unusual in children's toys and nice face and colours. This is for my Grandson who is expected any day now. I am sure it will be a firm favourite. Would certainly recommend him.

We have several Lamaze toys for our 3 month year old, but this one is the best. Baby girl loves its legs and feet, which are super for babies learning to grab and hold things. I predict as she gets older she will enjoy chewing on the tail and ears. As with all the Lamaze toys, it is well made, uses good quality interesting material, has a sturdy clip for attaching the toy to various things and has lots of lovely details (this one has, among other things, a squeaker the tummy, a satin mouth, woolly scarf, black and white pattern feet). A great buy!

C'est la deuxième fois que j'offre cette élan. Bonne qualité, le premier a servit a trois bébés consécutif. Très facile a attrapé même pour de petite main (pattes fines, "corne", et anneau au niveau de la queue). Il sert aussi pour ce faire les dents, surtout ses grandes "cornes". Il a un sifflet dans le corps, chaque sabot est d'un texture différente et fait un bruit particulier.

I think the moose is adorable, but my 3-month old doesn't seem that interested in it. He prefers stuffed animals that have a more obvious smile and eyes that can all be seen while looking straight on rather than from a side angle (like the Baby Einstein Octoplush). Maybe he'll like it better as he gets older. UPDATE: I was right...In just a few weeks, with more brain development, my baby is WAY more interested in the moose now. He really likes touching the crinkly feet and staring at the different patterns/colours. The rings make this toy versatile, and I use this as a mobile attached to various things around the house (the canopy of his Uppababy stroller; the bar of the jolly jumper; his Baby Einstein play mat). He also seems to like stroking the soft fur.

I bought this toy for my son when he was 3 months old. Initially he didn’t show much interest but now at 5 months he loves playing with this toy. He loves the crinkly noise it makes. Only negative is the price and the long delivery time.

Meine Tochter liebt den Elch. Ich habe den Elch zur Geburt gekauft gehabt und mit etwa 2 Monaten hängt er im Spielebogen. Am Anfang hat sie immer nur dagegen gehauen, doch durch Glöckchen in den Beinen bimmelt es immer lustig, was ihr tierisch gut gefällt. Mittlerweile kann sie auch die Füße greifen und diese werden auch immer fleißig benuckelt. Ich würde ihn immer wiederkaufen bzw. andere Produkte von Lamaze verschenken, da verschiedenen Tier einfach schön kindgerecht gemacht sind.

This is my grandson's favorite toy, so we bought a duplicate to have at our home. The feet make crunchy noises and are soft enough to grasp, with one or two also making noise like a muted bell. His horns are a silicon like substance perfect for gnawing on to sooth sore, teething gums and his body is fluffy and soft for snuggles.
