Great stuff for the price - lasts a good 6 mos. Look at the shine!!
Great Stuff - I have tried the CQ quartz as well that seemed the same but at a much higher price tag. Would a professional job last longer with higher grade products...I am sure. But if your willing like me to re-apply every 6 mos. I thin this stuff is GREAT! Make sure you have plenty of cheap microfiber towels ready to use...I use about 10 on my small car. I say cheap because once this stuff gets on your towel you should not reuse them and trash them. Do a small section at a time as instructed. I leave on only for a couple minutes and then wipe off. Make sure to look at your car from several angles in the light to make sure you buffed well. It was pretty crazy of me to try this stuff for the first time on my Porsche - but it works. Look at the pictures how this car shines. Wax can protect too but it won't shine as good as this. I still wax every once in a while - not as often but as the pros say I ONLY use Carnuba based waxes as to not interfear with the ceramic coating.

Wow!
I was more than a bit skeptical and put off using this for a couple of months. I finally washed my car, dried it, and set about applying. As instructed I wrapped the white material around the sponge and applied a few drops. The idea that a few drops was adequate did not seem plausible after decades of wax on/wax off. But I did as described. Instructions contradict themselves .One place says to apply first one way then the other. Another says to swirl. Bottom line is it didn't seem to matter as long as the surface was totally covered. One place said once applied wait 1.5 minutes, another said 4-5 minutes. I decided longer was better. 5 minutes worked well with 5 minutes of application then going back where I started to wipe off. With a white car, my expectations were not high. But having owned over 50 cars over the decades requiring hundreds of waxings, this was the easiest to apply, easiest to remove, and gave the best results. My car is relatively new so I assumed it would be mostly a protectant. But it deepened the color and seems to have given it a glow. Don't waste money on a more expensive product. This is literally as good as it can get! I am one happy camper!

So far, SO good
Seems like a winner so far. The collage shows the driver’s side of my black 2013 Ford Edge; top to bottom is after prep and before application, then 2 hours after application, and finally 26 hours after application. All three pictures were taken at 630p on their respective days to try to eliminate differences in conditions. It seems to have good shine and reflection, and application was a breeze. I should note that, as part of my prep, I applied a mirror polish 48 hours before the ceramic application. In my eyes it seems to have added some depth (like a traditional wax). I’ve found the best shine comes from a good quality carnauba wax, however that requires frequent reapplications. I had been using a hybrid synthetic with great results, though still I found myself waxing at least once a month. I’m optimistic having used this, however it’s performance and longevity remain to be seen. I’ll update after it’s been weathered.

Lasted 3 years. Reapplied and car looks better than new!
Applied this when my car was brand new almost 4 years ago, shined like new for so long, dirt never stuck, bird poop rinsed off in the rain easily. Only recently did it start to lose some of its protection and shine, then got progressively worse - shows you how good the protection was, car was getting filthy. So recently, I used a clay bar on the whole car, and bought a new bottle and reapplied it and at almost 4 years old the car looks better than showroom again. Highly recommend when your car is brand new - and if not new - then be sure you are getting the contaminates off the paint first and can feel a smooth surface before applying for best results

Excellent value
This review is 3 months since I applied the ceramic coating on a 2015 Focus ST. I've been detailing cars for over 10 years and only just decided to finally try a "real" ceramic coating. As this is my first ceramic coating I can't compare to any other product out there but I will say I am extremely impressed with the gloss and durability of this product after 3 months of daily driver use on a non garaged car. I have used many sealants, hybrid ceramic waxes, synthetic waxes, seal and shine, ect. and there is nothing that compares to the durability and retention of gloss you get with this product. I wasn't expecting much from the low price but I couldn't be happier with the results. That said, I prepared the surface of the car EXTREMELY well before application. This included wet sanding the entire car, cutting compound, polishing compound, and a glaze to completely level out the clearcoat in preparation for the ceramic coating. This is definitely NOT a typical way of preparing your paint before applying a ceramic coating but the car I was working on had heavy damage from hard water spots from being parked by a sprinkler system over a long period of time as well as typical imperfections of a 5 year old daily driver. Note: do not attempt this level of paint correction without a paint gauge! Also, before applying the coating I touched up all the stone chips with color matched paint so that the car looked as good as possible after this 5 year refresh. This is not a wipe on / wipe off product (nor are any true ceramic coatings) but I can certainly say that with proper preparation and application this affordable ceramic coating is an amazing value for the protection, shine, gloss, and durability you will get for your hard work. I was also pleasantly surprised that applying this ceramic coating over the exterior plastic trim rejuvenated the dark color and has retained that like new deep black look like no other product I have ever used. If nothing else, this is an excellent "trim restore" product! Needless to say, I have already purchased another bottle. If you put in the work to apply this coating right, you will be agree that this is an amazing value!

Looks good at first, but doesn't hold up or provide lasting protection
I applied this to the entire paint of my daily driver with the hope of achieving a very hard, highly durable paint protection. The application is a little tricky.. it doesn't drip well out of the bottle, and ends up getting all over the bottle and your fingers. It then hardens on the bottle top and it's really easy to get those bits of glassy hard stuff onto the microfiber cloth. You wouldn't want to rub those into the paint. No matter though, it's still doable, and after 12 hours or so, it looks great. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have held up all that well. The car accumulated dirt and grime just the same as after a straight car wash or wash+ turtle wax, and the dirt doesn't seem to rinse off any more easily with this stuff. Furthermore, after about 2 months with this coating the car, the paint feels a little tacky and I can scratch into the coating with my fingernail. Certainly doesn't seem like a '9H' coating.. My buddie swears by ceramic coatings (he bought McGee 37 or something like that) but I probably won't purchase from this company again..

NOT TRUE SiO2 CERAMIC COATING AT ALL!!!
First of all a true ceramic coating is Silicon Dioxide suspended in a solvent. When applied, you wait around 20-30 seconds or 1min at the most for the coating to "flash" which is the solvents beginning to evaporate, you buff the surface, which leaves just the SiO2 on the paint surface. THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT FLASH AT ALL WHATSOEVER! I applied a small amount, maybe a 6" x 6" section to test flash time and after 30 min (yes 30 minutes!) it looked exactly the same. Didnt flash, didnt get tacky, just buffed off like oil would and left a slick oil like feeling on the surface. I have no idea what all the 5 star ratings are for this item! This product is basically the equivalent of a ceramic spray coating and I swear they suspended it in peppermint oil to make it smell sort of like solvent. For all I know its just straight peppermint oil since it never dries on its own. If you are looking for a short term ceramic spray type coating then just buy that. Spray it on, buff it off, and know that its basically the same as waxing your car. Dont spend the time prepping your paint, claying, buffing, only to put this stuff on that Im guessing lasts maybe a couple weeks if that. I thought I could save a few bucks by going with a non name brand but clearly not. Im returning and buying a more well known product.

Great product, easily applied with correct procedures, super shine!!!!!
First of all most negative reviews are people who don't know what they are doing. People complaining about streaking, paint being ruined etc..you need a clean dirt free car. Wash it how you want and then clay bar the whole thing. Make paint corrections. Use compound or polish or both. I just used meguiers compound with a DA buffer. It was plenty shiny. There are many different methods, some use IPA. I did not because it does streak sometimes. To apply shake bottle, use the foam block and wrap it in the cloth they provide. I usually tape it tight on the back side. Make sure you have the foam side towards the car. Put 4 drops of product on it and rub it on. Horizontally and vertically. Let dry for a few minutes ( this is weather dependent) but not more then 4 to 5 mins. Then BUFF with a clean microfiber cloth turn often. DO NOT USE the cloth they provided. That is for application only...super easy. Prep is everything. I applied 3 coats to lights, handles, mirrors and bottom of hood. I let it cure about an hour in 75 degrees before apply another coat. See my pictures.
