Nature's Gate Nature's gate aloe vera moisturizing for normal to dry hair, duo set shampoo & conditioner, 18 oz each bottle

I’ve used this particular shampoo/conditioner combo for a while, first I purchased it almost double the cost at the only place I could find it locally, my co-op, before I found this lower priced set.Like others, I have also had some issues with ordering. I received the tea tree set twice, the second time I had to keep and use because I was broke. I’m just now finishing up that tea tree set and I can ABSOLUTELY tell the difference between the two products. It’s important to note though, I have severe scalp eczema, and tea tree and mints are like the last thing I should be putting on my skin. However, I would have a scalp full of sores and the like if this were a different manufactuer. But I digress..I felt the need to defend the product a bit, as most of the posts are bashing how it arrived.I am white, with very thick very curly waste length hair and I have scalp eczema, which is comparable to saying I have a dry yet oily scalp. Often, as with most lotions and facial products, I can’t get products to have the same effectiveness before finishing the bottle. The aloe shampoo/conditioner set has been a delight to use, I will be re-ordering shortly. This stuff makes me excited to shower because I actually feel clean after using it - every. single. time. And I dont worry two days later about how greasy my scalp will be, because it doesnt leave any residue. And no residue means no flare up and I’m seriously the happiest when I’m not worrying about my scalp.My words of wisdom to others- keep searching for the product that works for your skin, everyone is different. For those like myself that have been searching FOR YEARS to finally find a gentle shampoo and conditioner that doesn’t leave residues or stops being effective after a couple uses - give natures gate a try, even if this particular combo doesn’t work for you, their product is certainly a better quality than most.

I love this brand but i will say I have tried other types of this brand that I’ve liked more. This one made my hair get greasy with in a day or so. I usually only wash my hair every two days but I found myself having to wash it more when using this particular product. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great quality shampoo and conditioner but I’d only recommend for those with very dry hair/scalp.

Been using a week and so far so good.While using, it smells like sweet tarts (the candy) which is slightly odd. The smell is not super overwhelming but is there. The thing to note is that the smell rinses away, as long as you get your hair rinsed out completely it will leave your hair with absolutely no scent.I find my hair needs a bit of spray in conditioner to keep it from being frizzy, but to be fair I moved to the south last year and ever since I arrived I have had this issue, so it isn't just this shampoo/conditioner. A little bit of spray conditioner and my hair is tangle and frizz free and has a nice healthy look, shiny, soft, manageable.

I like this brand of shampoo but this particular scent and combo isn't my favorite. The scent reminds me of children's shampoo, almost like bubblegum which I don't like. It also doesn't wash out of my hair very easily. I make sure to rinse very well and it still leaves residue in my hair. Also, a lot of people have mentioned that the shampoo doesn't lather as well as other drugstore shampoos. This is a good thing. These shampoos don't contain sulfate (the ingredient that causes lathering) or phosphates (which have been linked to breast cancer). The fact that the shampoo doesn't lather does not bother me. This particular scent and aloevera combo isn't for me. I would however recommend the Nature's Gate Biotin and Tea Tree Oil Shampoo/Conditioner. It works great!

Totally love this stuff! Bought these in July 2019 for $17. Now it’s over $40!! What the heck?! Did they go out of business again? Bring the price back down. Switching to something else

We love this Shampoo/Conditioner. ALL of them, it was a huge hassle in the mail with BOTH duo orders, then one came with a broken top. 😐👎 on the shipping end. Amazon eventually fixed everything with payment to actually getting me the product, it was just one of those times it was a pain in tha bum.

I have found the perfect shampoo/conditioner combo. I have had an AWFUL time trying shampoos/conditioners. I have really long, combination hair...If I don't wash my hair for a day, you can tell it starts to get a lovely greasy sheen. NOT WITH THIS STUFF!! I'm so happy with this purchase--It doesn't leave my hair dried out, but it also doesn't leave it greasy either. I can go at least 3 days without washing my hair (yucky maybe? hah) before it starts looking like a washing is necessary. Love it Love it.

Only 4 stars because the conditioner is too thick to come through the pump. This is the first time I have seen this particular product with a pump. I hope I can find a different lid that fits.
