Avid FR-5 Single leverRight/Left

Needed this when converting my bike from a 3x to a 1x. Easy to install and I like that the lever is a little shorter for maximum leverage with one finger breaking.

Will it survive the next time my son pushes over my bike IDK but boy was it cheaper than the promax levers that came on my Fuji. Both of which have not survived the little man. I fear not much will.Install was so easy I think my wife could have done it.

Works great! Easy to install. Getting the old broken brake handle off was a pain because getting off the grip wasn't possible until I stuck a screwdriver up in it and sprayed WD40 in to get it off.

Shipping was fast and the product wasn't damaged. When I first opened the package, I panicked because I thought the brake lever was too small for my mountain bike. It actually fits pretty well.I'm also not really experienced in bike maintenance, but the brake lever was pretty easy to install with the right tools.It's been almost 2 months since I've installed it, and I haven't had any problems with it so far.

I have these brake levers on my Dahon Speed 8 folding bike. I accidentally broke one. Instead of searching the bike shops I checked Amazon. Sure enough Amazon had them and with Amazon Prime it was delivered to my doorstep in two days. Too easy !

Meant to buy the amazon Two Avid FR-5 Brake levers but accidentally chose this one...so I had to but another one! Doh.Anyways, its you're typical brake lever for cheap. It works well for a replacement.

maybe it deserves a better or worse rating. what do i know? it's the one and only that i myself have replaced. it works. i'm satisfied so far.

1. es ist nur *ein* Bremshebel, ich dachte es wären zwei, das ist natürlich meine Blödheit, aber vielleicht hilft dieses Review jemandem nicht denselben Fehler zu machen2. da man die Schelle nicht aufklappen kann, kann man den Hebel nur montieren, wenn man den kompletten Lenker demontiert, was ich auch gern vermeiden wollte, weil ich die Bremshebel als Zweitbremsen an meinem Rennrad haben wollte.

Colour is different from my original levers, however they function the same and are easy to put on.
