Very thorough book on the MMPI-2 that we used in our personality assessment course - details on scoring, including codetypes, and possible treatments are included for each codetype; the only thing we noted in our class is that definitions can tend to pathologize and not include as much positive strengths for each personality type; can be "laundry-list" style in paragraphs, but very good details that can be incorporated into reports

Between this and Therapeutic Feedback for the MMPI-2, you will have a strong foundation for administering the MMPI-2 and interpreting results. Excellent manual!

Good book to have. Great resource. Authors are very knowledgeable about the MMPI-2. Would like too see a cookbook version.

This book does not add anything new or important to the already existing MMPI literature. Odd that this particular mix of authors seeks to profit from a book that is based, in part, on the MMPI-2-RF, the very innovative and much improved version of the original test. Two of them (Friedman; Nichols) have taken public positions against the RF, just as they did with the MMPI-2 when it was released nearly three decades ago.

Extensive
