Empire Paintball 2013 Grind Pro THT Chest Protectors (Click-a-Size)

Very satisfied !! Excellent fit washes well in cold water and hang dry.

This is a great little product, the sizing seemed about right and it does cushion the paintball impacts to a certain extent (do not expect no pain or sensation of getting hit though). However, as I have learned, there is no padding that protects under your arms and armpit area which is a highly sensitive soft tissue region of the body. Ironically, I was hit once in the chest (the vest was great), and later 3 times under the arms (no padding and completely exposed). That being said, typically I never get hit in that area and have to pass it off as Murphy's Law. Overall this protector did what I expected and I would recommend it.

Just received. Not exactly like photo. Pads don’t go all the way down in back. Also, the pad design is slightly different then what’s pictured. The biggest problem is the quality of stitching. You can tell it was poorly done. See pic. Looks like they patched a mistake. I can see several strands already fraying. One plus is that it does have some padding for ribs (3rd pic). I haven’t seen that in any of reviews. Also, I’m 5’10 and 170. XL was a good fit. Slightly snug. I’m going to order again but from another vendor. Returning.

So I finally had a chance to use this and have to say I am quite happy with it. When I first put it on it felt really stiff, and no matter what I did it wasn't going to loosen up. Was reluctant to use it came game day but... It performed beautifully. I took a couple of rounds to the chest and they bounced off. It doesn't always bounce but when it does, you feel like a super hero.

Pretty good padding. A little snug for me since I wear XL. Didn't realize when I ordered that it would be size L/XL and I have to say it's more on the L side. Finally gave it to my son and ordered an XXL. Quality is pretty good.

I was against chest protectors for a long time. They were just so bulky and everytime you would kneel down or crunch down to reduce your profile you would have the protector pushing out. This is by far the best fitting protector.

Great padding, often balls bounce right off. I have taken 100's of hits with no bruising. Only drawback is playing with this during the warmer weather. I ended up taking it off due to the heat a few times.

Amazing paintball protection, I felt the hit but didn’t bruise! Which is a huge plus. definitely recommend for both men and women, also recommend getting the elbow sleeves with it!
