The color is true olive and the zippers a nice touch, but I had to return the bag because it's too deep and short. By that I mean it's like Hermiones bottomless purse but super bulky. The strap is too short to wear crossbody because it brings the purse just below your breast instead by your hip and it's too uncomfortable to wear on just one shoulder because of the bulk factor. A longer strap would go a long way in making the bag worth the money
