Quality product at a fair price!! The last 10.8 v Makita lasted 15 plus years....

I'm currently two weeks in on owning the two battery and charger kit. It was a night and day difference swapping out the originals, the gun runs harder and faster. Its made the old model DT01 I'm using feel new again which I've had for 6 years now. The batteries so far last for multiple days of use (Auto tech 5-6days a week) and those are not easy hours either. I remember the original batteries new only lasted about a day and a half and by the time I got this kit they would barely make it till lunch. I will update the review in 6mo on the performance but already I can tell this kit was a bargain at 35.99. I don't use the charger since it is a slower charge at 1amp hour vs the Makita one charges at over 2amps but it was a nice bonus in case my original charger dies.

Loved how quick they arrived and the fact that use life is comparable to my original Makita batteries.

I was a bit skeptical at first with these batteries, considering the originals are at 12volt these being 10 volts. But after trying these out on my Makita's I have no skepticism left, they flat out perform better than the original batteries.

I got these for my 12 volt Makita drills and drivers. They charged up quickly with the supplied charger and snapped in to the drills correctly. With a higher capacity than my original batteries they give me a longer run time. I will submit an update later if there are any longevity issues.

If I had not heard the explosion, or if I wasn't home this could have burned my house down. I've only used these batteries a handful of times, and after using it earlier today I put it back on the charger to re-charge. A couple hours later I hear a loud pop. I went to my garage to find it on fire on top of my workbench.
