Dunes Traditional Isfahan High Density 1" Thick Wool 1.5 Million Point Persian Area Rug, 13' x 16', Beige

I needed a very large area rug in just the right colors and this was it. Due to it's size, the rolled up rug was folded in half and wrapped securely for delivery. Once we unwrapped it and unrolled it we were very concerned about stretched out of shape areas down the center at the fold line. They were rather large bulges that wouldn't lay flat, nothing like the ripples caused by just the rolling. After a little online research, we did what was most highly suggested and steamed the problem areas to flatten them. It worked just fine, and caused no damage to the rug or the colors. Of course, if I had ordered a smaller size rug that didn't have to be folded for shipping, this wouldn't have even been an issue.Bottom line, I'm very happy with the rug and the slight inconvenience of having to steam it was worthwhile. I couldn't really find as pretty a rug in the perfect size and colors I needed anywhere else, and I think the price is appropriate.
