Very enjoyable read

I have slowly been working my way through the collected volumes. My treat is to buy one on pay day and drag it out for the month. In every volume before the art work and story lines blew me away. It’s like nothing I’ve ever read before! And then I opened Volume 6....Holy (insert lots of swear words here) .............I was not prepared for the sheer brilliance and scale of the art work in this! The battle scenes (of which they are many!) are drawn to a standard that blows your mind! They are beautifully grotesque; mesmerising you.I had to shout at myself in my head to slow down and shut the book last night otherwise I would have polished it off easily!!Robert Kirkman, if you’re reading this, I’m completely in awe of this volume. It’s your opus......so far. I have 6 more volumes to go after this. How this can be heated is anyone’s guess!Simply the most perfect graphic novel I have ever read!!

Only for two episodes, but his art is brillitant. And the road to the Viltrumite wars is here. Things are getting more and more serious for Mark, but we can't get bored, Kirkman knows how to keep the flame on. Buy it and read it or you will regret it.

A must have for any 'Invincible' fan, the story's excellent and so's the artwork. If you enjoy the super hero genre, then get it - though I'd advise getting the 5 previous issues first. Can't wait for the 7th Ultimate HC Collection.

Artwork is slipping and no longer as fresh as earlier editions, dialog is now run of the mill comic stereotypical.Still as a fan there is still lots to enjoy here and there are great highlights.
