Jingle Bugs (David Carter's Bugs)

My grandson loves these books and reads them over and over.

My son adores this book. It's pretty well made and has mostly stood up to his enthusiastic abuse. The final page has a light-up star and plays "jingle bells." It's annoying, but worth it for how happy it makes my boy. Each page has a very clever and different pop-up interaction that really makes the book fun and exciting. Your kiddos will enjoy this through the whole Christmas season.

This was one of my favorites growing up in the early 90’s and I still have the original. Unfortunately, I had torn out some of the pop out bugs and the lights and music no longer functioned. I was surprised to find this book still available and I am so glad I did. My 20 month old loves it!

I purchased this book because I'd had it for years and it just got worn down I'm a preschool teacher and love love this book I will be buying the other ones like Halloween bugs and Birthday bugs as well

I first bought this book when my oldest was two years old and it was an instant fave in our house. She wouldn't go to bed until we had read it, usually multiple times, and she quickly learned all the words and would "read" along with me. It is still not annoying to read, even though I've easily done it a hundred times. (That is really important for me when it comes to kid books!) Just a heads up, your kids will destroy it. I am now 3 kids in and I pretty much buy a new copy every year. Some years I've made it last two Christmases. Whatever! It costs $13 and brings us so much joy. Happy to spend my money on it again and again. Buy it!! :)

This is a cute book and has been a family favorite for many years. We had a book from several years ago that was so well used that I ordered this one as a replacement. The book we received is cute and we like the concept, but this one is not very sturdy. The light and music on the last page initially would not stop playing....and now it won't play at all. One of the lift the flap pages ripped easily right away. While the book was for a toddler, an adult sat and read it with them, so it was handled very carefully.

Previously said : seems like a bare bones version of the original books . Advertises as having music and lights like the original larger book but no such thing . Well we finally got the lights and music working like our prior books . The author’s series of many books is great for young children and recommend.

My kids loved it years ago when I discovered it and the next generation is loving it as well!

Five stars purely for the nostalgia. I'm so excited to introduce my daughter to Jingle Bugs this Christmas.On the con side... Should note that the book is more fragile than most kids books. There is even a piece on one page that isn't attached (it can get lost pretty quick!). But as a parent-supervised, family gathering book, it's perfect.
