Not wide enough for acoustic guitars
The legs don't open wide enough so it's not stable for large acoustic guitars. The stand itself is quite sturdy. Maybe okay for electric. The rubber padding at the top hinge could have been better. Overall would not recommend this design for acoustic guitars.

Lightweight but reliable for daily use
The three components of aluminium, hinges, and rubber pads are executed with a certain economy you think is too cheap but works very well for daily use. Budget Pacifica to reliced boutique- this should be next to your workstation and amp. Look into this further. It's a pity Amazon does not give the guages of the metals used. It's not flimsy, but it's a budget product...keep that in mind.
