So far so good!
I have used this solar panel twice now.I love this kit as it so easy to use. Simple to set up, clips directly onto battery with crocodile clips.First time was a test run, good sun, provided caravan battery with 13.7v - 14.2vSecond time was moderate sun direct. Again provided top end of 13.7v and was able to run 12v TV from the battery for a good 2 hours without decreasing the battery power until the sun started to go down.I haven't tested the panel in lower UV yet however from the performance I've seen so far I don't think this panel will struggle to keep a trickle charge to keep the battery topped up.I have bought this panel for that purpose, just to keep my battery topped up whilst off grid.Plug and play kit either everything you need and a nice case. Stands up well. A good weight so it won't blow over if a breeze. Some people have suggested a long cable so your able to move the panel around the van to follow the sun better but so far I haven't struggled with the cable that's come provided.Sturdy piece of equipment. Happy customer so far.

Dead impressed
100watt panel, with leads. Having used solar for the last 30 years in our camping units, I didn't think that I would be impressed, wrong! I have 220watt panels on the roof of my new motorhome, then this freestanding folding panel as extra capacity. Comes with a decent length cable, with battery clips, which work and are strong, but I bought some short leads to connect permanently to the battery, plus some push joints for connecting, to replace the clips. The bag is well made and protects the panel when not in use. Obviously being freestanding you can adjust angles to chase the sun, giving more power for longer. Sunny day in May it was pushing out 5.8 amps, good enough for me! The supplied, attached controller is superb, giving a choice of battery type, wet, GM. and every other type, it shows amps, voltage, wattage per hour and total for the day, plus the battery state. It is totally waterproof and easily visible to see the charging rates etc. There's also an automated float charge facility that protects your batteries once fully charged. Very impressed, especially at the price, mostly you get what you pay for, in this case, in my opinion, you get it bargain! I would definitely recommend this product! In addition, today stronger sun, 6.8 amps at 14.2v equates to 96watt, not bad out of 100watts, as nothing is 100% efficient!

Good kit
Good kit especially at reduced price. I had a previous version of this panel but without the controller and that was heavy this one seems to be a little lighter which is good. Much prefer this to the lightweight flimsy ones available as this has good adjustable legs is solid and weather proof and won’t blow away. I like that it will try to revive a lipo battery that is discharged.

Does what it should although crocodile clips dont work on dual contact batteries
This panel has worked well so far keeping my leisure battery topped up, however, I have a dual contact battery and wanted to clip the panel to the threaded prong, but the crocodile clips dont clip to anything that slim which is rubbish. A different crocodile clip would be preferable to make this work for both contacts.

Worth the money
Used them to put charge back into my 100A lithium battery during a camping trip, if I remember right when the sun was at its strongest I was seeing it charging with 5 to 7+ amps per hour, and when there was no sun at all and bit cloudy was still getting around 1+ amps. They're very well built, have a nice transport and storage case, I would buy them again for sure. 10+

Purchase of the year
This solar panel was the purchase of the year for me. I spent a long time researching a number of different makes of solar panel and settled on the 100w Renogy. Purchased so we can go off grid with the caravan, as it worked out £75 less on club sites without 12v hookup over 8 night stay on a recent trip. The Renogy powered the van with ease coupled to a 110ah battery. I purchased the extension leads(a must) as the supplied cable is very short. I cut off the crocodile clips on one set of cables and crimped 10mm ring conectors so I could leave the short cable permanently connected, left in the 12v side of the battery box. It's very well built, the solar controller does a good job, it's got a decent weight to it so it's never going to blow over in a wind and the leg stays are strong. Two trips on and the Panel has near paid for itself, no brainer for me. Use a bit more gas but at £28 for a refil I cant grumble. Wife was sceptical at first but is now totally convinced it was a good move.

Better than fixed panels
After a lot of research I bought this suitcase solar system to use with my campervan. Being a mobile set up I can place the panels in the sun then move them as the day goes on and still have the van in the shade. These panels have a built in controler with a digital read out and I was suprised what a difference moving the panel only slightly made to the output of the panel. If it was fixed flat on the roof I couldn't get that kind of control over the output. Panels need to be on a tilt to get the best results. Last summer (2019) in bright sun I got 7amps at miday and my batteries were charged with no problem.
