I would recommend these to everyone
I purchased these for my son as part of a graduation gift from college. Being a college student he cooks a lot at home and he loves these utensils. I wasn't so sure about ordering these after reading a couple of the negative reviews. Some of the negative reviews said they were very thin and bent easily. These will last you a long time. I am very pleased with these utensils and would recommend them to anyone who has been wanting to switch from the cheap and toxic plastic sets but can't afford the 15 for stainless steel utensils you typically see them for. They are somewhat thin, but much better than the big box store quality. If you want something cheap but utilitarian then this utensil set is for you. It isn't particularly heavy, but it is heavy enough that it doesn't bend easily. I wash these a few times a week in the dishwasher, and no rust or spotting problems so far. I like that there is a hole on the top for hanging them also. These aren't the highest quality, but overall, especially at this price, they are good utensils and I would buy them again.

Much Better Than Expected
*Each utensil has a nice, polished finish, and indeed, is Stainless Steel. (A magnet won't stick) So indoors/outdoors will never have any problems with rust forming. No fancy chrome plating... just a pure material. *True, these are stamped parts, but the metal is a sturdy, 1/16" thick, and the outer edges are relatively-well machined for a smooth feel. No particular problems with burrs. The stamping was done on the top, which naturally rounds the slots for food contact. * I purchased the set primarily for the spatula and "Jethro" spoon, and these two will undergo a little "aftermarket" sanding to make certain the lower edges are absolutely perfect for my tastes. Once done, I see no reason at all not to use the spatula in a non-stick pan. Additionally, since these are solid and one metal, it won't hurt the tools a bit. For ten bucks, this set is a great addition to both kitchen and outdoor grill, and is worth every penny!

Great set for a great price
This is a really nice set of quality utensils. I have no complaints about the item itself -they arrived undamaged, clean, shiny, and you really can't beat the price. My only negative is they arrived (with other items I ordered) just in a plastic bag and held together by tape or a twisty tie or something similar. Each utensil was individually wrapped in plastic as well (within this larger bag) to prevent scratching or damage.I am glad about that part, however this was intended to be a Christmas gift for my Mom, so I had to find another box and wrap it up as such and not make it look like I just randomly found these and created a set myself. Its really not a big deal, but don't expect it to arrive in a box - instead, expect it to be thrown in there with the other Amazon items you order LOL. Overall, the item itself is of good quality and she really loved them when she opened them.

Meh...
These are ok - but are a thinner metal which can be bent - this worked to my advantage on the soup ladle, because the cup of the ladle needed to be bent upward so it could be used. They are an ok cheep set, but I wouldn't buy them again.

Wonderful Cooking Utensil Set!
In the past I've just purchased the cheap cooking utensil's from Walmart or Family Dollar. It is true that you get what you pay for. In this case I got a really good deal on this set. I'm not a professional cook, but after my kids melting most of my plastic cooking utensil's I knew I needed something that was better quality. I am not disappointed with my purchase at all! I had read some people putting down that these were flimsy. I beg to differ!!! My other, cheaper, cooking utensil's that were supposed to be stainless steel rusted. Again, you get what you pay for. These utensil's are very durable, as my son tested it with his strength, and could not bend them, not even the handle, and he's strong! I like that the utensil's have a longer handle on them, so you aren't so close to what you're cooking and inadvertently burn your hand. I'm looking forward to using each one of these, because I finally feel I've got something that will last me a long time, and that these will survive my kids for a change! I HIGHLY recommend these utensil's!

Peeled off into my food. Had It for a couple of weeks
Started peeling :( while I was cooking so now it’s probably in my food which I spent all day cooking :( I specifically went out of my way to get metal pots and pans and wanted these to go with it All so I could avoid Teflon and plastic spatulas And now I’m literally probably eatting plastic

A tremendous value on a mid-grade utensil set
When I read some concerns about thickness, I was reluctant to order them. They're far thicker than I anticipated. No, they don't have "high school cafeteria" heft, but they're thicker than the metal on most non-commercial kitchen utensils. Characterizing them as mid-grade commercial would be about right. They feel good. They're a tiny bit rough where they were cut from stamped metal and the "finish" on them is probably a 7 out of 10, but I paid about $10 for them. I went to a large box retailer and utensils like these, perhaps a little thinner, start off at $5 each. This is a spectacular bargain. And they look good in the utensil jar that sits on the counter next to the stove. Very pleased with this purchase. I'd say you get more than your money's worth with this purchase. Weary of nylon and plastic melting on my other utensils, I propped these up with a set of bamboo utensils for non-stick cookware. I have no complaints.

The Amco Stainless Steel Utensil set is a wonderful addition to our home and concession stand
The Amco Stainless Steel Utensil set is a wonderful addition to our home and concession stand. They come with a latch to keep the set together and also hook onto a wall mount, which is not included. They are a perfect size and are very sturdy. I have customarily purchased cheap products at my local department store. Although the price was cheap, the product is great. They are a good value for the small cost. I plan to have these utensils for a long time. I would recommend these utensils from Amco to the casual and professional cooks. They are great for serving, straining and stirring.
