I have used this thermometer for more than a year now. Ànd very often too.It has never failed me

Accuracy
The thermometer looks good and is easy to use. However, not sure regarding its accuracy. There is no calibration certificate for it. Will have to get it calibrated.

Good accuracy, but falls off easily
This thermometer was recommended with reservations in America's Test Kitchen(2024). So you know it is good. Problem: It has a relatively small base, so it often fell through the slats of the oven racks we used. But temperature is accurately measured.

This is a very essential tool for checking how much is the actual temperature inside the oven.I went for this as the markings for the knobs had faded and the temperature actually need to be interpolated.With this, I can set the temperature during the pre-heat period and adjust accordingly, even during the main baking period.Pros:1. Very accurate & helpful2. Easy to read3. Temperature is given in F & C4. Can be hung or can standCons:1. ExpensiveI have listed only 1 item in cons section & that's why I've given it 4/5.Price on the packing says Rs.3400. I bought it for Rs.2154.It is an investment which should last for a long time.If you're looking for an oven thermometer, look no further. Go for this.
