Best Blender Ever!
I typically don’t fall for buying items because of the “name”, but I can say with certainty, this blender stands apart from the rest. I made butternut squash soup the day I received it and it was so easy and absolutely delicious and super creamy. The unit is extremely easy to clean and is the most durable and sturdy blender I have ever used. It comes with a muddler and amazing cookbook. I have also made delicious smoothies and the texture cannot be compared to any other blender drinks. I would highly recommend purchasing. You will not be disappointed. Definitely worth the extra money.

Pricey but worth it!
I am a Vitamix converter and believer! Don’t know that I would go back to any other brand now. So happy with my purchase! I’ve only made smoothies so far, but they always come out so amazingly good! Every smoothie comes out smooth, rich and tasty. Not to mention it’s so easy to clean! I had a Ninja before this and I was staying at a friend’s house who had a Vitamix. I had a smoothie there and thought this is good, but I’m not seeing how it’s any better than the ones I make with my Ninja. Well, after having a smoothie made with Vitamix and going back to have one with my Ninja I realized the difference. The smoothies come out so much better. They honestly taste more flavorful! I think it’s the blending power truly makes a difference. And I love how easy it is to clean! I used to avoid making smoothies sometimes because I hated cleaning my blender but this is a cinch! Highly recommend it!

Replaced my Vitamix with the Best Vitamix by far!
I replaced my original Vitamix which was 25 y.o. Model 4500 TURBO bc it stopped working midway through any blend, smelled like burnt rubber, and even smoked sometimes. I actually was a dealer for Vitamix and had sold 10 Vitamix Blenders in our pharmacy & wellness Center. I decided to replace my ‘ole girl’ but could only afford a rebuilt Model A2500 Acsent. The very large package came the next day. I chose this model because it is built with a 1500W motor, has 10 speeds, and 3 preset programs, plus a 5 year warranty. It is a fantastic choice for me. The A2500 is much quieter than my old Turbo 4500. My smoothies are ice cold and extremely smooth (I add Raw Unsweetened Cacoa Nibs which never chopped up finely… now you can’t see then or have to deal with the left over “grit” in your mouth. The A2500 appeared to be Brand New, I purchased Rebuilt “Premium” Condition. I could not afford a brand new Vitamix at close to $800 but I found that the A2500 has the same motor of 1500W, vents around the base to cool motor, it does not have all the bells & whistles, but it goes well beyond the basics. I am a 75 y.o. Senior Widow, living on Social Securiy and was able to buy the Vitamix Acsent A2500 for $450 paid out in 6 equal monthly payments with NO Interest! If you love Smoothies. Hot Soups, nut butters, or practically anything else, you don’t have to deprive yourself of good, whole, healthy foods. Be Safe & Stay Healthy!

Nice update, but if you have an older model - keep it
I had a 15 year old (or maybe longer) model that has had extensive use over the years. These are truly a work horse of a machine. My wife used to use our old Vitamix at least twice per month for many years to grind up grain and flax seed for her dressage horse. This would tax any normal blender, but the Vitamix performed this effortlessly and without fail. I also used it to make very large batches of basil pesto at least twice per growing season - again with no issues. MOre recenlty, I've been using it approxiamtely 5 times per week to make pitchers of "healthy shakes" using various frozen fruits, ice and other ingrediants. There is a thermal protectin setting on the large industrial-type belnder motor that has begun ot "trip" as the blender heats up under the stress of use - generally after about 90 seconds. That's right on the cusp of the amount of time I need to make my healthy shakes, so sometimes it "trips" and shuts the motor down - and I have to wait a few minutes prior to it starting to work again. Because of the "forever" support Vitamix provides for their blenders, I could send it back to Vitamix, and for about $170 or so, they would completley recondition it and return it "like new". I saw the newest class of vitamix blenders at a cooking demonstration and was impressed with the updated look, the accessories and the "smart" integration of the blender to your smart phone and a Vitamix "smart scale" to follow recipes. I sprung for the new version and updated version. Likes/dislikes: The base to the blender has changed. While it's still very solid - it's a bit lighter than the old version. They now have a "low-profile" container that allows storage of the unit on a counter and UNDER a standard kitchen cabinet height. The old version was too high for this - so it's a nice option now to keep it our on the counter - especailly with some of the new colors. The 3-program preset program mode for me hasn't been useful. I've tried one of the three - designated to make smoothies - and it simply doesn't operate the machine nearly long enough to actually make a smoothie. I am simply back to my old method of operating it manually. The new machine - while still quite loud - is much quieter than the previous model when operated at top speed. The new container system accessories are somewhat useful. I also purchased the smaller containers that use a different cutting base for very small jobs (works good) and for single serve smoothies (works okay - hard to get everything down to the actual blades in the smaller container without a "push stick" - so I continue to use the larger container) I haven't used the iPhone app that links to and controls the vitamix yet, but it looks promising as you explore new recipes. In retrospect - for what I am doing right now (which isn't the entire capability of the new system), there isn't much functional advantage over my older model. "If it's not broke - don't fix it"wasn't quite the choice, since I'd have had to have my old vitamix reconditioned, but not a lot of functional improvement for me personally at this stage. It's definitely much more modern looking, aesthetically pleasing and new features that I have yet to explore.

Just WOW!
I'd coveted Vitamix blenders for quite some time, but found the price just a bit too steep. Then I was told by a friend about reconditioned models. I found this one on sale, reconditioned, for $279 and decided to make the leap from my average blender to this, the paragon of the industry! It's powerful, fast, versatile, and clean up is so easy! My old blender is going to college with my son, and I'll happily make him smoothies, hummus, sauces, soups, and nut butters when he comes home to visit. Because I got such an amazing deal, I ordered the 48oz pitcher as well, and as many have said, it is better for smaller batches. My only regret is that I replaced my dead, 25 year old blender a year ago (spent about $60) and didn't upgrade to Vitamix then.

Nice unit
Received promptly and works GREAT. I was worried about “refurbished” but with the 5-year warranty I gave it a shot. I use it everyday!!
