Although the description says this mount will clamp to a "tube up to 1.181" diameter," I'm using it with a Wali speaker mount's top tube (which my calipers say is 1.27" in diameter) and it's snug but fits perfectly. Very sturdy, high quality mount, just the thing to secure my cans conveniently when they're not on my head. The surface for holding headphones is almost 4" deep, and accommodates both the Bose QC25s I use with the computer, and the QC35s I use with my phone (though it's a little crowded). Other headphones (I've tried with Sennheiser HD58x Jubilee, Philips SHP9600, HiFiMan HE400SE, etc) will fit no problem.

Bought this because 99% of other stands I found had too narrow of a top hook, so they wouldn't fit my headphones with an extra wide headband. I like the shorter height too, so it can fit perfectly in my shelf unlike the other stands I've seen which were too tall. This feels incredibly sturdy, heavy, and high quality too, well worth the price for me.

Nice units. Have 5 or 6 now. The fit on bars that are thicker mic stands and they do a good job there too.

Holds headphone. I guess my only complaint is that the height means the connector for my DT 1770 Pro headphones would be supporting some weight. I have this positioned on my speakers for my PC so it is not an issue with my setup. Connector for the 1770 pro is a lengthy mini xlr, so this is likely not an issue with headsets that use smaller 3.5 jacks, and wouldn't be a concern with non detachable wired headphones. You can also avoid this all together by leaning the headphone with no connector towards the ground more leaving more space for the connector on the other side, or by collapsing the headphones into the band completely which means you would need to adjust before putting on every time.

This is the perfect solution for any home or project studio, to keep headphones safe and at-the-ready, when not in use. This mounts well on a microphone stand or a high-hat stand. I own several of them, and they are built to the same excellent quality of other K&M products. One thing to note: When using this on a standard K&M microphone stand, the rubber node at the end of the pressure screw sits at a slight angle to the stand. On a heavy duty K&M stand (which is a slightly larger diameter), it sits perfectly flat, with even pressure. This does not present a problem for a standard stand, and the unit does not slip, but I would imagine that, if left in place on a standard stand over time, the uneven pressure on the thumb screw might cause it to bend slightly. All of my microphone stands are K&M, both standard and heavy duty. Of course, it works on any brand stand.

This is the perfect solution for what I was looking for. I now keep my headphones close at hands and the K&M is sturdy, reliable, pretty cheap and good looking!

I was a little hesitant to purchase this at first because I did not like the design of it, but glad I did. I now realize the grooves in the front of the hanger are a needed function as I can put my headphone jack through to keep the cable from hanging and laying the floor. There is also room for a second set of headphones or hang extra mic cables, etc. when not in use like I do. I am very satisfied with this product & recommend it, but do feel that that it is a little overpriced though.

Bought this after reading through a multitude of product reviews & glad I did. Hubby's using it to store his Sennheiser headphones (used for TV watching) next to his recliner. This attaches perfectly to his floor lamp, so the headphones are stored in a safe & out-of-the-way place, while still being easily retrieved whenever needed. This is well-made and never "slips or slides." Highly recommended!

Sturdy holder that works to keep all the cables organized. Can hold quite a few without any issue. A very sturdy item.
