This product is a rip, didn't work from day one!!!! Dog continues to bark. Throw whistle away and my thoughts were "Good-By to Bad Rubbish" Don't buy, if you buy anything invest in a bucket of hot water, works great!!!

It does not do the job as advertised

We have an 8-month-old Yorkshire Terrier who barks incessantly in our townhouse (two neighbors on either side). She''s a good dog, but fearing a problem with the neighbors, we felt the desperate need to make the barking stop immediately; it was really beginning to get out of control.The little whistle is audible, but it's still quiet. It isn't going to wake the baby in the next room, nor is it going to create another loud noise in your home.It took a few tries adjusting to the appropriate frequency, but when we blow it, she STOPS. Just stops barking. Walks over to us, a little concerned. Eventually, she moves onto something else.I don't know what it is about the noise that makes her stop barking, but she does, and that to me means that this product does its job.

It does work. after a couple of tweets with the whistle the dogs know that they had better stop barking when I just pull it out and show it to them.

I was looking for something to keep the "wolf pack" away while walking on the sidewalk. It sometimes does that but taking the time to adjust it just isn't a good fit. Go elsewhere if you are looking for a dog chaser.

Worst POS ever. I could not get the pitch right, the thread is so loose that it doesn't stay at the level you want. I attached it to my keychain and the whistle part eventually fell off. Now I have no whistle. Save yourself the frustration and pass on this one.

Well, the jury is out on if this is helping. The whistle works, so it does what it was made to do. Yet you will need to fidget with it with your dog to determine what pitch is the one that will stop your dog. My dog did stop, but he got used to hearing it, so he started barking again. Now I am trying other pitches so that he can stop. It does come with suggestions, such as using command words afterwards. If you are outside and in the very cold weather, keep that in mind with this whistle in regard to keeping your lips safe.

I love it, but right now I cannot find it and therefore I am a fish out of water right now. It really works. Thanks in advance. I will have to buy another one when I can afford it. It is a life saver.I
