Excellent, it really works!
We’ve used just about every feline laxative on the market in our 40 years of having cats. THIS is the best we’ve ever given our kitties! Yes, it’s a little pricey, but IT WORKS, and our cats eat the tuna flavored laxative very willingly without having to force it down their throat or wipe it on their face & paws. There’s no mess with this stuff! We just squirt a dollop in their dish, cover it with about a spoonful of wet food, and they gobble it all up. Hairball constipation & spitups, goodbye!

it is the best of the market
This works really well, no more wet hairballs. The cat loves it too, he is all the time bugging me for some! I had to hide it, he definitely knows the tube.

Works, but it doesn't smell like tuna at all
My Maine Coon needs hairball gel. I usually get the Maple flavored one but decided she might want a change. She won't eat this one at all. I'll have to go back to the Maple. Its runny but not as runny as the maple flavor. At least my other cat likes this one, but she's short-haired and doesn't need gel. Oh well, live & learn.

This product has been a life safer for both of my dogs!!
I'm beyond thrilled with the Vetoquinol Laxatone Oral Hairball Lubricant Gel for Cats! My vet initially prescribed it for my small dog after he swallowed a cooked rib bone, and it worked like a charm. But the real surprise was how helpful it’s been for my Labrador with her anxiety around hardwood floors. While I’m helping her work through this fear, she often hesitates to get off the bed to eat and will only go down on her own to go outside. This leads her to sometimes wait until late in the day to eat or drink unless I bring her food to the bed. If she doesn’t eat regularly, she becomes nauseous, and that’s where this gel has been an absolute lifesaver! Just a small amount calms her stomach and settles any nausea, so I can get her to eat and she can relax and get through the day comfortably. Finding this same brand on Amazon was such a relief, as I was running low after using it for 18 months. It’s wonderful to have something on hand that’s so gentle and effective for her sensitive stomach. I’d recommend this to any pet owner who has a dog with digestive or nausea issues. It’s truly miraculous and has made a huge difference for my sweet girl!

Laxatone for cat hairball prevention
My vet recommended this for my older cat. It's a clear brown gel which mixes easily with her food and she eats it right up. So far it has reduced her vomiting and her appetite is better. The product looked a little tired when I received it. No box: don't know if there should have been one. The tube had a bar code sticker, but it also had some adhesive residue where at least one or two other labels had been applied and removed. The product seal is a foil closure inside the cap, and that looked new and undisturbed. But be sure to check.

a must have for any long haired cat owner!
if your cat is long haired i wouldnt recommend following the directions on the bottle because its sticky and your cat might get annoyed if you put this on their paw or nose. I usually put a dollap on my kittys wet food, or I use a chop stick and put the little dollop right inside her mouth [my cat doesnt mind this because shes used to her teeth being brushed occasionally, it might not work with your kitty]. One thing for sure though, this stuff definitely works. Ive seen a huge reduction in hairballs my cat coughs up. It also allows her to pass the fur without risk of impaction. This makes pooping much easier for your kitty, especially if yours is a majestic hairball like mine. You need to give extra and larger amount when you first start using it, but afterward a little dollop a day is more than enough for maintenance. My kitty minds it much less now that she recognizes it as part of her morning routine.

I use it for my constipated senior dog
I know this stuff is made for cats but upon researching it, it does say on their website that it can be used as a laxative for dogs. My corgi is getting older and was having issues going potty. He'd hold it in and constipate himself, then when he finally went it of course hurt so he'd repeat the process and hold it, making it worse, etc. I tried pumpkin and other natural remedies and it didn't work. Then I tried animal appropriate doses of human laxatives and those worked but caused diarrhea and made him really lethargic. So I wanted a laxative made for animals that I could use regularly without worrying that it was unsafe for him. I'm not sure if this has made him more regular since I tend to just let him out back and go about my business, but I do know I don't hear him yelping when he goes anymore so it must be working in some way which is a huge relief. Once I know he's healed up I'll drop his dosage down but I'll probably keep him on this as a supplement just in case. All I do is smear a glob of the gel on a flat treat and he gobbles it up immediately with no issue. Easiest medication dosing I've ever had to do!

Safety sealed sane product sold at vet
Same product sold at vets. A third of the price. Tube is safety sealed. You can also purchase curved syringes on amazon to insert on the side of cats mouth and down so they dont aspirate. Practice with tube sometime too tight and shoots out too fast. Too get them to swallow either blow gently in their nostrils or wet their nose leather.in order to lick their nose because of these two actions they have to swallow. Please check with your vet. I am not a veterinarian however have much experience.

フェレットに与えています。喜んで舐めてくれます。ただ、お値段が張りますね。使い切り個包装になっていると衛生的にも良いと思います。
