After going to my local Target and seeing the selection of really poorly made trash cans made of plastic for nearly the same price, I took a risk and bought this based on the reviews. At first I was a bit skeptical of the way the bag is held down by the metal bars but after a few weeks I haven't encountered any issues and the bag stays firmly in place. It might take a few extra seconds to change the bag but this trash can keeps everything looking tidy and clean. It offers two ways to remove the bag, most the time I have to lift the upper lid to get the bag out, but again not really a huge inconvenience for something that really hides everything inside the can and under the lid. The extra bag holder in the back of the can is unnecessary for my use but may provide some extra benefit for someone else.

These trash are fantastic! I bought two and I LOVE them worth every penny. Built well, already assembled. Perfect size, not too big but not too small. Love them!

I’m giving this 4 stars, because like other reviews, this came dented. Luckily I was able to get the dent out with my hand and a rubber mallet, so I kept it. Really nice garbage can though. You can push the lid farther back afree opening it, and it will stay up so it’s not falling back down while you’re trying to take the full bag out. The design of the garbage can kind of tricks you into not overfilling it (I overfilled my old garbage can all the time) it has a rim that covers the edges where you roll the bag over so it hides that for you, you have to lift the rim to get the bag out. The pedal works great. And it’s very sturdy, my 60lb daughter has already climbed on top of it to get to the cereal cabinet.

I am so glad I got this for my galley kitchen. I am in my 60s and it just works well for me. The lid is QUIET when shutting....the foot pedal is quiet and easy to do for me. Love the pewter color goes well in my kitchen ...the height is perfect and this can is larger than I expected to hold more garbage than I was used too, which is a good thing. Easy to put in the bags around the silver ring INSIDE to hold bags well..no more sinking bags into trashcan. The only ding against it is I think it would be helpful to have indented 'handles' on the sides of the can. MINOR detail. Otherwise this can will last years with regular use, just dont be hard on it to make it last.

Its huge, and now my 30 gallon bags do not go to waste. Love the bag stash area, and the odor shield actually works. I feel like I rarely need to empty it, but of course I do!

Exactly what we needed. Came in great condition. Push pedal to open. I like how it has two metal bars to hold bag in place, I’ve not had a single issue of the bag slipping while in the trash can. The lid flips open completely to allow for a very full trash bag to slide out without ripping. Highly recommend.
