Short but sweet
For artists that want to improve drawing from imagination this is a great little book with some excellent examples on how to simplify anatomical forms. It particularly helped me with some of the tricky to decipher areas like the hips. I personally prefer this to some of the more renowned instructional books such as loomis or bridgeman. Loomis’ book is too wordy for me and I’m personally not a fan of how his figures look. Bridgeman has the style nailed but his drawings are loose and abstract and the text is like reading some cryptic language. This book however is simple, easy to understand, and most importantly the drawings themselves look great.

Helpful and pocket sized
This is my first book from the MORPHO series and For someone who likes to go out and study in a café or other social spaces this is perfect. The spine of the book is not attached which makes the book lay flat with little effort nicely so you aren't fighting the pages. the content itself is handy so far and I am only partway through the book.

Would not recommend this for the price or quality
Quite shocked at the size and quality of this book for the price its very basic and for the price I would not buy it or any over of his books I did look at some of his other titles before this book turned up so glad I did not buy it because they were even more expensive As I first opened this book the book cover came away from the spine the cover is too stiff for a paperback book

For me this book pulled it together with angles and form. Glad I have it with the Morpho Face-Head and Neck Hands and Feet--Joint Forms and Muscular Functions And In Simplified Forms he highlights Eyes-Ears-Noses and Mouths Along with Body Angles.

First of all, it is small as shown in some of the pics I uploaded. However, it’s not the size, but the content that’s important. It includes sections about Head & Neck, Torso & shoulders, upper limbs & Lower limbs. I’m very visual so I am enjoying the illustrations in itself that I can practice doing right along each page to correct my drawing proportions. I am liking the content so much that I am excited to get more the other Morpho books. If they are like this one, it’s easy to bring anywhere. The price is very affordable considering what is included and easy to take along anywhere I go. I am glad to have purchased this one. It will help me improve a lot. 😁
