This is a great specialty item...for *non-standard* install situations
This is a bit of a specialty item. I bought it for my power hardtop mazda miata(!?!?). That's right, I put a hitch on my miata. Why? Because I am a biker. There are only a few options for some vehicles; and this one was perfect for my installation. (It is actually the same one U-Haul uses in their installs, FYI.)I found a local (TRUSTED!) mechanic to install it for me; and it cost less and was done more quickly than going through the few "pro" install shops in my area.

But overall very happy with the hitch quality and install
Installed myself on 2013 MX-5 Grand Touring with soft top. Little more difficult install than other vehicles I've installed hitches on, due to the tightquarters on the Miata. Also made more difficult because I did not loosen the muffler as instructions suggested. But overall very happy with thehitch quality and install.

Fit Problem
I purchased an 11028 hitch for my 2007 Mazda Miata MX5 RHT. The mounting tabs on the center section did not align with the existing holes in the bumper as described in the instructions. Everything else mounted properly. I was disappointed with this and the fact that the receiver didn't come with a rubber cover plate. Otherwise this is a very nice hitch.

Some bolt holes don’t line up. But otherwise works well.
The bolt holes on the vertical flanges did not line up with the holes in the Miata chassis. They are off by about 1/2”. Overall Mounting worked though.

Good hitch
Fits well and looks good on the car. Requires drilling hole in the car, so it might not be the best first time do it yourself project.
