Fits like a glove
I got this for my ~5 year old Senal SMH-1000 headphones I use in my sound bag. I'd replaced the earpads when I got them, for the sake of comfort, but it still had the original headband, which had begun to flake. The SMH-1000 is similar enough to the Sony 7506 I figured I'd give it a try. The headband protector went on like a glove. It was a little bunchy at first, but after tugging it into place and centering up the zipper it fit perfectly. Nice and comfy and no more flaking headband coming off in my hair. I'm pleased as punch.

Perfect fit for ATH-M50x
As can be seen from the photo, it's a perfect fit for a new pair of M50x. The fact that the fabric was designed with some curvature and not a rectangle as other headbands, helps to a more aesthetic look. Installation was very easy. The zipper is ok. It's not going to be zipped\unzipped daily, so hopefully it'll hold.

I've had my trusty Sony 7506 headphones for years... THEY NEEDED THIS!!!
I'm grateful for the Linkidea Headband Protector! I've had my trusty Sony 7506 headphones for years, and they've been my go-to for music production, mixing, and mastering. However, after years of heavy use, the headband had started to show signs of wear and tear. That's where this amazing headband protector came in. The installation was a breeze, and the flex fabric is incredibly comfortable. The protector has given my Sony 7506 headphones a new lease on life! The quality of the protector is top-notch, Linkidea put a lot of thought into designing a product that would meet the needs of sound professionals like myself.

Worked great, but a little tricky to install
Works great. It was a bit tricky to install. It's a tight fit and getting the zipper started was the most challenging part, though zipping it up was easier than getting it started, it still was tricky. In the end the quality is good, it does the job, even if at the start I wasn't sure I would actualyl be able to install it, the fit was so tight. But after that it's been great and since it's material and not that lousy vinyl that disintegrates over time, it seems like it won't become an issue later.

Not As Wide As Stated in the Listing
I purchased this headband cover based on the dimensions stated in the listing - 4.3 inches wide and 7.6 inches long. The width of the item I receive is 3.75 inches in the middle and it tapers down to 3 inches on each end - so no where near the stated width at any point. As a result it would not fit on my headphones. The length dimension as is fairly close to 7.6 inches as stated in the listing. Hope this information is helpful to others considering this item. I will have to return it.

Not soft enough for comfort
I have a sensitive noggin and this neoprene material hurts after a while. I thought I could stuff some padding inside this, but the material is dense, stiff and wraps tightly, so the soft foam inside has no effect. It looks nice enough. Should have got the nit style.
