I’ve been using the **BLACK+DECKER Portable Space Heater (1500W)** in my home office, and it has exceeded expectations. It heats the room quickly and maintains a comfortable temperature even on the coldest days. The unit is compact and lightweight, and the built-in carry handle makes it easy to move when needed. Despite its small footprint, the heat output is strong and consistent. It’s quiet enough to run during work calls and doesn’t create distracting background noise. I purchased it on sale for $21, and the performance rivals heaters that cost twice as much. For a home office or small room, it delivers excellent value, reliable warmth, and straightforward operation.

Works well but is for a small room such as a bathroom. Never use this item through an extension cord as it can over heat. Never leave the item unattended. It will auto shut off if it is tipped over. I live in Florida so we don't get very cold weather but it is very helpful on those cold evenings when I want to heat up the bathroom without turning on the central heat. Overall it's a good item.

This is a great portable heater. The safety features on it are well designed and fool proof. It may be small, but it warms up a space like a bathroom or bedroom nicely. Just make sure you close off the doors. It puts out more heat than you’d think based on how compact it is. Very reliable, and good quality. I’m already considering buying a second one! Great value for the price.

This is a nice and reliable space heater for the price, it is a quick warm up and has been going for several overnight hours since purchased with no problems at all. For an inexpensive alternative this is the one. I have been using it on my porch for the outdoor cats that come and go and I'm sure they appreciate it on the colder days/ nights. I can hear when I check on it that it is running, so it's not real quiet, but not loud either, more like white noise. I just turn it off and on at the surge protector. It is in a sheltered area I created for the cat's so I don't have to get in there to turn it off. The only con is that it's not fancy, with a timer, temperature control or remote, but for the area and reason I am using it, it's not necessary. I keep it on the higher setting.

Overall, this heater performs exceptionally well, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. **Please note: this heater is basic. It doesn’t have a remote control nor does it oscillate. The size is approximately the size of a hard covered book. Not large by any means. I feel even though this is very basic, I feel you will be getting far more than your monies worth. Also not that this particular model is entirely black. There are other models with silver and other makeups of color coordination’s. ***IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE: Always plug this or any heater directly into a wall outlet. Ceramic heaters, regardless of brand, are known fire hazards when connected to extension cords or power strips, even those with surge protection.

This little heater throws out a ton of heat at the hottest setting. You can warm up right away and feel only hot heat over a foot away.. If I put it in a big room, after less than 2 hours it increases the temp in the room by 14° +. It does have a low setting as well but I only use the hottest setting. I bought this in January 2024 and loved it so much I bought another! I haven’t used the second one I bought, but the first I have now been using for 2 years for many hours a day during fall/winter and still works just the same! That is quality! It doesn’t feel hot to the touch either when it is running. It’s not very loud either. It’s like white noise to me. What is great about this heater is it doesn’t overheat and shut off all the time like 2 other small space heaters I have from other companies. And can sit right in front of this heater and it won’t shut off like the others!!! When you want heat you don’t want your space heater to shut off and this doesn’t. This also throws out a lot more heat. After two years it hasn’t blown a fuse either and it is easy to use-just turn the switch.

Got this to replace another space heater that stopped working. Price for the features fit my budget, always trusted B&D. So far, my intuition has proven correct. Nice little heater with simple controls. Feels very safe (you can't even pick this up while it's running or it will immediately shut off). I like the two heat settings (750W and 1500W). Thermostat works well, maintains comfortable temps in my 15x30 room.

Worked great and stopped working after 1 year. Wish it would’ve lasted longer but worked great for my small office while it worked.

Hasta el momento todo bien, como comunmente quiero calentar baños rapido; a maxima temperatura, maxima potencia hace muy bien su trabajo, tenia mis dudas, pero hasta el momento muy buen producto.

Heats a large room within 5 minutes. It's safe because as soon as it's moved or if it's placed on an uneven surface, it automatically shuts off. The noise is a bit loud but it's not irritable.

Al inicio y por la descripción en el tamaño, uno se da la idea de que no va a calentar muy bien, pero realmente si funciona como debe. En mi caso, lo uso al dormir por las noches por el frio que hay, el cuarto no es ni muy chico ni muy grande, así que es ideal, no lo uso para nada más, solo para el cuarto. En el consumo energético (pago el servicio cada 2 meses) no vino con una gran diferencia, fue mínima, nada por el cual uno se deba de preocupar.
