I'm highly satisfied with the Black+Decker Personal Ceramic Heater. While lightweight, this heater proves remarkably stable, resisting tips unless given a substantial shove. A safety sensor on the base automatically shuts off the heater if it tips; to reactivate it, simply unplug and re-plug the unit. The thermostat also automatically powers down the unit once it reaches your set temperature. A convenient handle cutout in the back allows for easy portability. On the top panel, the left button controls the adjustable thermostat, while the right selects fan and heat settings. A prominent orange-red indicator light on the front confirms when the unit is powered on. Noise output is minimal; I never needed to adjust TV volume, speak louder than normal, nor awakened during sleep from the noise output. After a brief name and address registration, your heater is immediately covered. Overall, this heater performs exceptionally well, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. **Please note: this heater is basic. It doesn’t have a remote control nor does it oscillate. The size is approximately the size of a hard covered book. Not large by any means. I feel even though this is very basic, I feel you will be getting far more than your monies worth. Also not that this particular model is entirely black. There are other models with silver and other makeups of color coordination’s. ***IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE: Always plug this or any heater directly into a wall outlet. Ceramic heaters, regardless of brand, are known fire hazards when connected to extension cords or power strips, even those with surge protection.

This is a great portable heater. The safety features on it are well designed and fool proof. It may be small, but it warms up a space like a bathroom or bedroom nicely. Just make sure you close off the doors. It puts out more heat than you’d think based on how compact it is. Very reliable, and good quality. I’m already considering buying a second one! Great value for the price.

Very warm! Save my life in the winter storm! It has three gears so you can adjust the temperature. Even it looks small but it is 1500 watts! So it is really warm! The small size makes it easier to be carried to anywhere. Love it!!!

This is a nice and reliable space heater for the price, it is a quick warm up and has been going for several overnight hours since purchased with no problems at all. For an inexpensive alternative this is the one. I have been using it on my porch for the outdoor cats that come and go and I'm sure they appreciate it on the colder days/ nights. I can hear when I check on it that it is running, so it's not real quiet, but not loud either, more like white noise. I just turn it off and on at the surge protector. It is in a sheltered area I created for the cat's so I don't have to get in there to turn it off. The only con is that it's not fancy, with a timer, temperature control or remote, but for the area and reason I am using it, it's not necessary. I keep it on the higher setting.

This little heater throws out a ton of heat at the hottest setting. You can warm up right away and feel only hot heat over a foot away.. If I put it in a big room, after less than 2 hours it increases the temp in the room by 14° +. It does have a low setting as well but I only use the hottest setting. I bought this in January 2024 and loved it so much I bought another! I haven’t used the second one I bought, but the first I have now been using for 2 years for many hours a day during fall/winter and still works just the same! That is quality! It doesn’t feel hot to the touch either when it is running. It’s not very loud either. It’s like white noise to me. What is great about this heater is it doesn’t overheat and shut off all the time like 2 other small space heaters I have from other companies. And can sit right in front of this heater and it won’t shut off like the others!!! When you want heat you don’t want your space heater to shut off and this doesn’t. This also throws out a lot more heat. After two years it hasn’t blown a fuse either and it is easy to use-just turn the switch.

This is a little powerhouse of heater. It brought up the temperature of the room by 5 degrees in less than 10 min. It shuts off at a certain temp maintaining that temp. It's a little loud but that's ok, being warm is important. The handle stays cool so if you do need to move it, you can safely.

This is a great little heater, but be careful with the little peg at the bottom, that trigger the on and off switch. Mine fell out and I couldn’t find it anywhere for about a month and then one day when I was sweeping I found it and didn’t even know what it was so when you get this, look at that thing and check it periodically to make sure it’s not about to fall out. Because without it the heater won’t turn on. I think they should definitely use something better for this option. But then again, they would probably need to raise the price to do that.

For this for the polar vortex in the northeast which has been pretty brutal this winter. It does a great job warming the space around me and keeping a cold room at a nice temperature. It's small enough to store in a drawer too when not using it.
