Heavy duty great feel cuts perfectly.
Excellent hand pruners extremely sharp and easy to operate. They are well built and not flimsy in anyway. The perfect length and feel great in my hand as I have small hands. I am very pleased with my pruners a little pricey but you get what you pay for. A+ all the way.

Mud and thick roots were no problem
I spent 5 months clearing out trees and stumps from a marshy area. The ground was wet and a lot of the root ball was exposed. But I wanted those stumps out and there were thousands of roots. I jammed the pruners into the dirt and mud to cut them out.I was amazed they did not jam from the mud and stayed sharp for so long. But I kept losing them in the mud. So I cut some leather to make a sheath and wear it on my belt.My wife had 4 pairs of hand pruners which she thought were ok. In September she tried my pair and quickly decided to throw them all out and now I have a good idea for a Christmas present.

Ars hand pruner
Today I used first time the ARS hand pruner. I like the ergonomic shape and size of the pruner and it cuts well , but the blade broke after one hour of work . My opinion is that this ARS hand pruner is great for light duty pruning. The blade cuts very well but has its limitations. Compared with felco in my opinion I think that felco prunner is more heavy duty.

Best pruner ever.
This pruner stays very sharp, easy to use, good for smaller hands. Bright red handle makes it easy to see. They can be a little tight in the open/close mechanism, but this loosens up eventually and I've found them to be the best pruner I've ever had. I agree with the AI generated review except that I found that with use the opening and closing gets better. The first one I had was perfect, open/close was excellent and made work SO much easier. I very highly recommend for someone with the smaller hands.

Very solid pair of pruners
I recently purchased these primarily for my wife to use and did so to help her because she has small hands, and these fit her well. I own the Gold Standard brand (Felco) and since I'm left-handed, I purchased a pair of pruners specifically designed for left-handed users. I was so impressed by the significant difference of those, and I must admit these ARS branded pruners are a very close second. I am hopeful they will remain sharp and last as long as my Felco pruners. If the Felco's didn't exist these would be 5-star pruners, they really are very high-quality tools. I can easily recommend them for sure, but if you want the best, I will still suggest you go checkout the variety of options available from Felco.

Dangerous sharp and awesome but…
These are by far the best pruners I’ve ever owned but people need to know a few things. My hand size from thumb to pinky flat is 8 3/4 inches (22.23 cm). If you have similar hand size then buy buy buy, if you don’t have larger hands, they may not be a good fit. If you aren’t bothered by having to re adjust grip for larger cuts, bigger than a dime branch, you could still use. If you are using them repeatedly day in and day out, it could become a tedious movement to do twice compared to once per cut. Smaller cuts would still be fine and the only reason am I saying this is because my buddy used them. He has smaller hands and said he was less efficient doing a double movement on larger pieces. I don’t suspect a home owner to be bothered at all by the movement. I am just putting this out there for landscapers and arborists. The falcos open wider in my opinion.
