Worked great for about 10 knrf Eveives
I had high hopes for this sharpener. If I had known the sharpener has sanding disks (yes, circular sand paper) instead of stones, I never would have bought it. When I first received the sharpener it worked great for about 10 knives. Then the sand paper basically wore out and the unit did not want to sharpen any longer. You are paying roughly $80 for cheap junk that you will continually need to replace sand paper. I highly do not recommend this product.

This knife sharpener produces some of the sharpest knives in the kitchen
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I have a 10 year old set of J.A. Henckels knives that have never been sharpened, and because of this, these knives were very dull. It was so bad that I was on the verge of buying a whole new set of knives and just replace them, but then I saw this knife sharpener. I figured it was worth a try. The results were amazing!!!! The machine is super easy to use and quiet.

Does the job, well designed, small footprint
As an owner of other Worksharp products (WS-2000) for both woodworking tool and knife sharpening, I knew this product would be well designed. I like the portability, the fact that the power supply tucks into the unit itself and the self timing sharpening cycles. It basically does what it says on the tin and sharpens your kitchen knives and scissors to scary sharp. To those complaining that the sharpening disks are basically sandpaper, that's the media used in every Worksharp product, so no surprise to me. Stones get wallowed out and are challenging to flatten, sandpaper is cheaper and better. You get two surfaces per disk, just flip them over when one side loses its "tooth". And if you're wearing them out in 10 sharpenings or so, either your knives are super dull or you're pressing too hard.

My first electric sharpener and it gets the job done.
So I had a buddy recommend this knife sharpener and so far so good. I do a lot of hunting and our group of friend do our own butchering. I usually do the old school method but it's hard to be consistent. This sharpener is quick, easy and affordable. I've had it for two weeks and done pocket knives and kitchen knives. I have found out that the middle part is the most important part because it gets it wicked sharp.

Surprisingly GREAT sharpener
Impressive right out of the box. Compact design. Power cord stores neatly in underside of sharpener. Intended to just try it on a couple of kitchen knives, but after honing the dullest blade back to razor sharp I spent an hour sharpening everything from the dozen kitchen knives (incl serrated) to the garden shears, all of the scissors, and pocket knives.I still have 3 hand held sharpeners, 2 diamond rods, a couple of sharpening stones but the best purchase (so far) is the Work Sharp! Best tip - after using & cleaning knife, run it back through the top kitchen knife guide a few times to keep the sharp edge.

Great product for a fancy price!
Really easy to use, but it seemed that for the price I think it would have came with at least first round replacement disks. After a few sharpens, disk is no longer effective. Could use a guard of some sort for when the blade touches the unit while pulling the blade out during a sharpening cycle. May be like a honing edger so it cleans the burrs as it sharpens. Other than that, it’s an effective product, a bit pricey for the quality.

Best kitchen sharpener
Hands down the best kitchen sharpener to date, I was able to sharpen all 17 knifes in 1/4 of the time. The best hidden feature is the on board for management keeping everything handy and clean.

False advertising, didn't get what I paid for
Super annoyed that I paid extra for the E2 plus model with the extra attachment and two speed buttons, but instead I received the E2 model without all of the options I wanted and paid for. Will be returning immediately and never purchasing this brand again.
