Baby Alive Powdered Doll Food

I bought my daughter a baby alive doll for her birthday in September and as it only comes with 2 packets of food, I decided to top this up with some extras. These cost me around £8 which is quite steep but considering how expensive other baby alive items cost, this actually isn't so bad. The pack consists of 8 packets of "food", 4 broccoli and 4 pear and a pink spoon which can be used in any baby alive feeding doll. The food can be mixed in any bowl or cup and takes 15ml of water to make a relatively thick mix. The substance mixes easily and the consistency is kind of slimy, it can then be spoon fed to the baby alive doll. My daughter has managed to get this food all over her own clothes as well as the doll clothes and it comes out easily in the wash, no staining! The food should be used with the baby alive doll along with water in a baby alive bottle to stop the doll from getting clogged up. I have advised my daughter to use just have a pack at a time using 7.5ml of water (measured using a medicine syringe!) as it does make quite a lot of food and children get a bit bored after a few spoonfuls and it can dry out if left. You can always make up more food if they want more later on but I've found doing this has made the food last twice as long as it should! The fact this comes with a spoon is great because my daughter lost her original spoon within around 5 hours of opening the doll 🙈 and it's hard to find a spoon that fits well into the dolls mouth! I will most certainly be buying this item again for a Christmas present!! :)

There is no substitute to this food sadly. Tried the diy recipies found online but they clog the doll up. Good product.

My daughter loves this baby doll food but I do think it’s a complete rip off. It stains anything the mixed solution touches and the powder doesn’t dissolve easily enough for a young child to use.

My daughter loves baby alive this is the cheapest place I found them! Great value for money and I have a happy child!

Love it, fast delivery and would definitely highly recommend 😀 Daughter is over the moon, make sure you clean the dolls plates out as if it drys it hardens 😀

Fácil de preparar para la Baby Alive. No contiene un aroma agradable por lo que es menos probable que a los niños se les antoje probar. Esto me pareció mucho mejor pues en mis tiempos olía agradable y daban ganas de comerlo. Mi hija pasa horas jugando con su muñeca a darle de comer

So like most parents out there, I got one of these for my child for Christmas after repeated begging. My neighbors little girl had one so I knew they were messy... but... OH MY GOD!!! My daughter literally used EVERY HAND TOWEL in my house on christmas day because every diaper very quickly became a blown out diaper... After several hours of this I had the epiphany that I had bought a package of newborn diapers for my daughter to use on her baby dolls and told her to go get some... People, I bought these newborn diapers at Aldi's for like $7. THEY WORK 100% better than the baby alive diapers. Granted they are a little big so you have to wrap em around themselves kind of but after we switched to real diapers instead no more blown out messes. Now onto the product review for the playfood. As previously stated my daughter got this stuff EVERYWHERE on Christmas day. Which I expected. I will say that thankfully it's non staining because it looked like it was going to stain everything. It did not. It didn't really having mixing directions other than mix with water. So we had to guess and check how much water with her little baby bottle. Eventually that was figured out but it wasn't so bad. I wish there were larger packages or even like a scoopable container! Good value for them.

Great product. Doesn't stain baby doll clothing. My daughter loves using the baby food on her baby alive dolls.
