NES Essential Components of Elementary Reading Instruction Secrets Study Guide: NES Test Review for the National Evaluation Series Tests

This book was horribly written. I found lots of misspelled words and missing punctuation which is ironic because this book is about reading components. It was painful to read through the LEAD 21 because the book kept jumping from concept to concept but not in a logical sequence, again ironic because the material itself states that learning needs to be scaffolded. They need a better editor for this book! If this was better than the study guide I can't even imagine how much worse it could be. The 80 pages of material could have been condensed into 40-50 pages. I'm usually positive about items I receive but this is preparation material for educators. This needs to be of the highest quality because it trickles down into our classrooms. Mometrix please step up your game.ex of misspelling: pg 51 "Developig critical thinking".....just one of many but the most ironic!

This study guide is very well put together.   It is worth every penny spent.   This is a very vital part of your preparation in taking the exam.

Better than the NES study guide. It is repetitive and doesn't give all the details for an excellent review.

I found this test prep very helpful as it includes challenging practice questions with clear explanations.I feel the material was good overall and served my learning needs adequately.
