Our sink was a little smaller than this strainer was designed for, but we were able to mush the bottom up some to get it to work. The unexpected bonus was that it was slightly larger diameter than our drain too, and the mesh extends out enough that the stream hits the strainer instead of flat ceramic -- it acts like an anti-splash mat. The horrible water splatter problem we had is gone!

These sink strainers are small they fit right in the drain opening but are effective.

I thought I had ordered a larger drain strainer but when these came (pk of 2) I was surprised that they still covered the drain holes well enough to keep food from being washed down the drains.They are easy to remove/clean, but sometimes it takes a bit of work to get all the scraps out. I know that, judging by the one I saw at my daughter's place, there are better sizes & I intend to get one. ...until then these will do. I guess for the price, I can't complain.FOUR STARS****

Fits most bathroom drains for tub or sink. Doesn’t rust and holes are large enough to let water drain quickly but prevents hair and small items from going down the drain(retainers, rings, earrings etc. saves a lot of frustration and time from having to remove the drain pipe.

I love this item. As I use it to catch hair in the bathtub i have to use something sturdy and blunt to clean the hair out of the mesh. Other than that, I love it.

I was in the market for similar product but nothing is as close as this one

It’s better than nothing, costs too much for what it is.
