These glasses are amazingly thin and I love them. Too bad one of them is broken, but that’s becuz of the shipment. The quality of the glasses is still amazing. I know it is very fragile, but I’m okay with it. I personally like crystal better than glass and this is just perfect!

So sad! Loved the idea of these aerating glasses, but broke one hand washing it after the first use. The stems are so thin it snapped right off. Such a bummer!

I highly recommend the Performance Series glassware. There is a noticeable difference in the manner in which the wine opens due to the construction. We have purchase the Cabernet, Chardonnay and spirits glasses and are extremely satisfied. These are beautiful Riedel glasses of the quality you would expect. As with all fine stemware they should be treated and handled according to the manufacturers recommendations. We use ours several nights a week with no issues. We have consequently purchased these as gifts with no complaints of them being overly fragile. In fact these are dishwasher safe due to the solid one-piece construction.

Lovely looking wine glasses but of absolutely terrible quality. Riedel claims 1500 dishwasher cycles but they broke after the second one!! They are incredibly fragile. One cracked at the bowl and the other split at the stem! 80 bucks straight to the rubbish bin!

I was skeptical when I first read the functions of the glasses. But after seeing them for real, they are so worth the premium paid. The stem of the glasses is tastefully slim and smooth to touch. The glass bowl is generous in size and allows red Bordeaux wines to reach their fullest flavors. The greatest accent of the glasses has to be the sound that they produce upon contact with each other. The note is absolutely heavenly! The chime is reverberating and the vibrations can be relished all the way down the stem. Lastly, these elegant crystal glasses are thin yet strong. The sensation of drinking off the glass rim is nothing but exhilarating. For wine appreciators who value finer glassware, this is one set of gem finds that you NEED to add to your wine rack. They are sure to stay for the long run!

Yes they are expensive, and yes be careful they will break very easily, but wow the wine tastes good out of them. They feel gorgeous, and although the glass rim is thin, they don't feel sharp. A really nice product, but be careful.
