Q: How does this paper perform with double-sided laser printing? Is there noticeable bleed-through or is it pretty opaque? Thank you!

I use to work in a printing shop. best rule of thumb for 2 sided printing use heavier paper over 20lb. B&W printing you may get away from bleeding. Photo copy or laser B&W print does ok. anything with solid colors can show thru with 20lb paper.

Q: Can I use this on my inkjet printer?

On 20Sept2019 I spoke to "Jasmine" at (800) 242-2148. That number is International Paper Company and Hammerhill is one of their brand names. I got that number from the Hammerhill web site. She tells me that you can use their uncoated inkjet paper or their uncoated laser printer in either type of printer without concerns for damage to either type of printer. Those are their uncoated papers. She said, however, that you cannot use their laser glossy in inkjets. (I did not ask but I guess that ink will glob or be poorly absorbed if their laser glossy is used in an inkjet printer. I asked her specifically about the printer damage rumors in these reviews. She said no such damage will occur so I don't know where these rumors are starting but I don't believe them. Like others here, I would like to order only one type of paper for all my printers. So, I am ordering Hammerhill Laser Print paper because it is listed as 98 bright, 24 pound weight, and it is described as extra smooth. I will use it in my inkjets and in my laser and after talking to Jasmine, I'll have no reservations nor concerns about damage to either printer. I also expect that the inkjet performance on this laser paper will be exceptionally pleasing even when used in inkjets when compared to the average multipurpose paper on the market from other manufacturers.

Make sure you order it from the specific seller that offers free shipping (and DO NOT use "1 Click Buying"!).Amazon listings can be annoying/confusing because they sometimes list products sold by multiple sellers without making it entirely clear which seller you'd be buying from when you click "Add to Cart."
