These are slightly tighter than I expected, but I was wearing thick socks. They actually fit very well once I got my foot in them, but they are a bit wider on the outside than I thought. I walked around in them quite a bit to see if I think my daughter will like them for Christmas. I decided to give them to her, and she can return if not what she wants.

The need for these slippers came for my girlfriend in the most unlikely way. It was blue-steel cold out, an absence of heat only felt in the dreaded dearth of winter's frigid blue. The gut-tugging cold permeated the wood planks of our floor. No furnace could defeat it. One night our youngest cat began a worrisome meow from near the back porch. What was she asking for? Bracing herself against the tundra-like floor, she reached into her mother's instinct and set foot from warm bed onto frigid floor, and my girlfriend rushed to the rescue of young kitty. But all was fine, this young cat likely alarmed by the flutter of snowflakes against the icy window in the black night. But there had to be a better way... And so it began, the research, the online reviews, the surveying of friends... What are the finest slippers? The slippers inspired by the Aleutian native-Americans, adequate for Scott, Peary or Amundsen on expedition at either polar region. What were the very finest of arctic slippers? Our search led us to this, and I am pleased to report to you, after exhaustive research, that these slippers are beyond compare in every way. Warm in the excess, but not too warm... Excellent traction, enough to tread where only Eskimo or penguin may, attractive in a nose-rubbing, quaint kind of way and also able to maintain a high degree of audible stealth when creeping across the floor in the bottom hours. I would recommend them without reservation.

The backs of these slippers are lower than they look in the photo. To me, they almost felt like slides. I need a little more ankle support, personally, but these would probably be great for someone else. Alas, I returned mine and I'm still looking for the pair that is just right.

I can't believe how comfortable these are. I have high arches and need some support, and these slippers have it just right. They wouldn't be enough for walking on the street or wearing all day at work, but they have enough support to keep my feet from hurting, even if I wear them most of the day in the house on a weekend. They feel soft and cuddly, and my feet like them!

Great, snugly slippers for cold weather. My feet would get pretty sweaty if I wore these in anything but cool weather. I do wish the foot bed had a bit more cushe, but for slippers they are overall quite comfy. I love the look and style.

I was looking for a sturdy warm comfy slipper with arch support that I could wear indoor/outdoor. I saw these online and they looked perfect. I took a chance and the size was perfect (though at the back of the heel it's a bit tight at the seam..it points in rather than out). Make sure you order large enough size. One thing I was initially disappointed about...I thought I had ordered shearling and these are a wool blend fleece. There was no label or insert with the product that said what they were made of (just the usual Made in China). Turns out I had clicked on this pair because in my size there were no shearling-lined ones available. No problem; I love these. I immediately checked out other Sorel shoes and bought some slip-on winter shoes for outdoor wear. Can't wait to try them too.

This is my second pair. The last pair lasted three years and just looked to beat up. These are very warm and easy to get into. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a shearling slipper!

The Good: The bottom line is that these slippers are amazing and you should buy them right now. My wife is obsessed with them and has worn them almost every day since I bought them for Christmas. They have a very snug and comfortable fluffy lining that my wife says is comfortable with or without socks. The suede-like material is stylish and well made. The sole is the best part: very tough and has thick, with great grip.The Bad: While not necessarily a bad thing, they probably shouldn't be worn outside of your property. While the sole could certainly take it, the suede might get stained or damaged by outdoor use.

These slippers were a perfect fit, look amazing and are so cosy. Great non slip soles. My only personal issue is that there is not quite as much support for the arch as I had hoped but they were meant to be a spare pair to keep at my mums home so for the short times I will be wearing them they will be fine. My mum however tried them on and they fit her perfectly and she also has problem feet, so I might have to order a second pair.

my wife has always had issues with her feet being cold. I got a pair last year for Christmas and told her they were great. This year she got a pair and absolutely loves them and wears them all the time.

I just love these!
