I'm sure a lot of people looking at this cable are not capable of discerning the very highest discrepancies in sound quality. Heck, most of the people that say they can actually can't. I'm sure a lot of people are just looking for a replacement for their Hifiman cable. That's what I was looking for, that's what I got. It's a lot longer than the default cable which means I'm not so restricted at my computer. Threw on some music and to me it sounds great. The stretch of cable closest to your head is not braided, which is annoying. It makes it look a little inconsistent. But only time will tell if that is really a downside or not. One potentiality is that it stiffens like the original did with time and exposure to skin oils and sweat.

My HiFiMan headphones died after five years, so I replaced them via AMZN and the cord that came with them was cheap feeling and way too short. This set of cords works great, plenty of length and solid connections.

So, the reason why I purchased this cable is because of my level of annoyance with the twisted/braided cable that came with my HarmonicDyne Athenas. That was forever getting snagged and yanking the phones nearly off my head. Since this is a single strand, this cable doesn't have that issue at all. The sound quality seems to be on par with the stock HarmonicDyne cable. The length is good BUT it gets tangled really easily. It doesn't loop well and gets easily twisted. Rather than a cloth covering, this feels more like a plastic and it's really rough. Asthetically, sonically, and economically, it's pleasing which makes it good where it counts. I just find the texture/wrapping to be annoying. YMMV!

Very good quality wire. I needed a replacement cable, but with a different plug. I replaced the two plugs on the headphone side, and the wires inside look very nice and high quality. The wire is flexible enough, and the length is just what i need. And finally, but probably most importantly the sound quality. As the jack is gold plated, the connection is perfect for both the 3.5 and 1/4 plug, and I cannot hear any different between this cable and the original that came with my headphone.

I bought this cable because the one that came with my HE 400-i was a bit too short. Like the description says, this cable is braided for the most part, but the part where it forks up to the left and right connectors is made out of a rubbery like material which is a nice touch. The quality of the materials and overall build is nice. The braided material means no tangling mess and the connection to the headphone themselves is solid. There were a few accidentals moments where I pulled one of the cables out of the headphone, but I’d rather have the cable come off then possibly get damaged. For a replacement cable, it’s a bit on the pricey side, but it’s well worth the investment if you’ve already spent money on your Hifiman headphones.

Recently had to replace my headphone cable after the original one started to fail, and I like this one a lot more. It's much lighter and less annoying than the cable that comes with the Sundaras, and it's braided so it can withstand a lot more abuse in comparison. I always had the issue of it getting caught on everything since it's extremely thick and made of rubber, not to mention the gigantic right-angle connector on the end of it. If you're looking for a new cable, I'd definitely recommend you give this one a try!

Purchased 2 of these and they've both broken in less than a few months. second one in less than a month. what garbage

Great cable, but it’s a little too long for a desk as the wheels on my rolling chair keep eating the cable and I have to untangle it. The connections to the headphone are also a bit small for my Hoffman He6se V2, but that should allow them to work with more headphones, and them being a little small hasn’t affected me, although I assume a drop could bend them since they aren’t flush.

Au départ, le son était voilé sans toutefois qu'il me semblait manquer d'information. Tout y était mais tout était voilé, moins détaillé. Après 2 semaines d'utilisation (environ 10-12 heures), je ne me préoccupe plus des comparaisons avec le cable original de 3 m. J'écoute et j'apprécie. Hifiman Ananda, cable 9 pieds 3.5 mm.

das Kabel ist schnell geliefert worden es ist sehr gut verarbeitet und für den normalen Gebrauch (Wiedergabe CD mit 16 Bit und 44,1 kHz) und einem "normalen" Kopfhörer auch gut in der Wiedergabe für mich sollte es eine zeitlich begrenzte Überbrückung für ein defektes Kopfhörerkabel im Bereich High Res (24 Bit und 96 KHz und höher) sein. Bei solch einer Verwendung ist deutlich der qualitative Unterschied zu hören. Resüme: Das Kabel erfüllt seinen Zweck im Bereich Musik z.B. von CD hören. Weiter oben spielt es nicht gut mit. Der Fairness halber muss aber auch gesagt werden, dass ein High Res Kabel in guter Qualität auch das 50 bis 200-fache des Preises für dieses Kabel kostet. Also, ich habe realistisch gesehen, nichts zu meckern.

Quality of cable is good but the cable is pricy. I also don't like the white prints of L and R on silver color jack. Its very hard to read. Please make it black. Overall, I am pleased with the cable

Great braided quality headphone cable that is a great replacement for my damaged HE400s although a bit expensive but worth the cost.
