Lovely model of an incredible aircraft. Tamiya has done the swings right with separate airbag pieces to enable you to swing the wings and still have an accurate model. I've waited a long time for this In 48th. Glad it's here, and done by the company that's the best in putting outstanding detail in a buildable model - one that's not a lifetime project - maybe just a summer ;-),,,!

While Tamiya kits almost build themselves, the directions can occasionally be confusing. Add to that when to add any aftermarket sets, and you can be flipping back and forth between instructions and get lost. This book solves all that, buy restructuring Tamiya's instructions, adding aftermarket bits into the sequence, paint charts as you move along and notes about placement. My only gripe is that the spiral bound edition can only be purchased through the publisher, not on Amazon. I feel spiral bound would be easier to use.

Glenn did a great job breaking down the Tamiya instructions in a concise and clear way. Along with the added options for this kit. Still in the beginning of this F-14 build, but with this book, I will have a model I'm proud of. Thanks Glenn!!

Clear descriptions and drawings. However I feel that the customer would be better served a Spiral Binding or a Loose Leaf binding. This would allow the user to lay the book flat on their bench making it easier to use.
