This Ethernet-to-fiber media converter and fiber cable replace an Ethernet connection between Internet-connected ham radio gear and local ISP equipment. This media converter is the best bang for the buck device. Very easy to use, it's plug and play! There's other media converters that cost between 300-400 dollars that does exactly what this media converter does. I just had a media converter from another brand go bad and I replaced it with this one. It works great!

Worked as advertised for a fraction of the price of other brands. I use their routers and network adapters as well. All good so far.

Purchased two about two years ago and both have been working with no problems, except when a coyote ate a dead rabbit right on top of my fiber optic cable that i had lying on the ground!

I bought this to convert my mom's dial up to Ethernet so u could hook up a wireless router for her to be able to use the tablet I Just bought her for mothers day. My "tech guy" said to just put the phone cord into the tx port on this box then hook up the rest, blah blah blah. I CANNOT PLUG THE PHONE WITE INTO THE TX PORT! Any suggestions?

Worked great for a connection that had to be 100full with no negotiation. Switches in the back to turn off auto-negotiation and set speed were exactly what I needed.
