Let me start off clearly: I love this beautiful knife. It's razor sharp; it does well with both vegetables and meat. I was so pleased with the very thin slices of tomato I produced with this knife. It cuts through steak/roast beef with ease. And it feels good to hold, to work with. The box it came in could serve as a lovely presentation box if you're giving it as a gift, and I appreciate the safety sleeve that is provided. I note that I finally could no longer sharpen my (much more) expensive chef's knife, and, frankly, I prefer this one. Time will tell, but I think the quality is excellent. So glad I bought it.

Knife is incredible when u first buy it, sharp, perfect balance, nice wood finish. I guess it’s normal but it does get dull overtime so you need to sharpen it… also do not put it in the dishwasher. It will ruin the wood!! The best knife I’ve ever had

I bought this knife 4 months ago and liked it so much I bought the matching cleaver. Now I wish I would have bought the complete set from the beginning. These knives are SHARP and they hold their edge well, I use a hone to help keep them razor sharp. You want paper thin tomato slices? No problem, I like making smash burgers and cutting super thin onions is very easy just watch your fingers. I saw some reviews complaining of rust but I have not seen that but then again I don't leave my knives in the sink or put them in the dish washer, both of those will rust most knives. Hand wash, towel dry and put away, do this with all of your knives and they will last forever.

It works good, it’s sharp, it holds an edge, it sharpens easily. Careful It’s Sharp! Yes glad we bought it. Nice to have a good blade for kitchen cooking.

I gifted this to my boyfriend who loves cooking and he loves it. He says it’s sharp and of great quality. Makes cutting anything a super easy job and he uses it all the time now in the kitchen. Definitely a good purchase!

Very sharp out of the box, nice handle, and very light but enough weight to trim and slice beef.
