Being from Hawaii, rice is a staple in our home. After moving to another state it was hard for me to find sticky rice, let alone rice that cooked well and was good. Thank God for amazon lol! This brand is awesome and for the price? You can't beat it. It's sticky, doesn't have that grainy dirty or weird plastic taste that some others do. It's perfect for fried rice and sushi as well!

Short to medium grain rice, shorter than jasmine rice, not as fragrant; it sticks together better and is good for chopsticks, but not super sticky and doesn’t bleed starch like sushi rices. This is a great dinner rice, pairs well with a wide variety of foods and sauces. This is one of my favorite all around rices.This is factory packed in a plastic bag, sealed well with no leaks. The rice is pearl-white and clean, not at all dusty. Price is good for five pounds of rice; I was pleased to find this here on Amazon, my local supermarkets do not even carry Calrose rice.
