In another review someone wrote that they got this toy for their 6 year old, and when they opened it the toyfell apart immediately.They are liars, because this is an awesome toy.

It Fell Apart Immediately
My son got this toy for Christmas and it fell apart immediately after I took it out of the packaging. I've been opening toys for my son for 6 years so I can attest that I didn't damage it while opening it.I have a lot of experience with transformers and I couldn't get the pieces to stay together for more than a minute in Tie Fighter mode.We took it back to the store and exchanged it for a non Star Wars transformers toy that worked as expected.We've also had issues with two other Star Wars Transformers toys. Based on reviews of other Star Wars Transformers that I've read it seems that the engineering is bad for the entire line.
