MTMEZ-3 Clay Target Thrower with Pivotal Arm Swing, USA Made, Red

This is deceptively easy to use
When I first saw people using this thing, I thought what a waste of money, why not just throw them up in the air !?! But once you use this, you'll never throw clays any other way or even miss having a machine. It's really simple to use and the pivoting arm makes for good leverage allowing you to throw much further than a stiff arm thrower. Since direction is based on your stance, the clays can be made to go anywhere - which is rather the point of clay shooting - right?!If the clays are too stiff to 'push' in - don't push. Just bend the 'fingers' out a little and hey presto - they now fit. I've never had a clay break putting one in.When we were at the range, we saw people pull up with big clunky machines, and then spend the next 20 minutes to half hour setting them up. That seemed like a total waste of effort and shooting time. We were shooting in less than a minute !!!The only 'downside' of course is that you need someone to actually throw the clays for you. But someone has to 'pull' on a machine as well I suppose - so no big deal.

Perfect throw every time!
I’m one of those thrower challenged people so I decided to give this thrower a try. This device threw perfect clays every time. I used it left hand, right hand, regular throw, frisbee type of throw, and it threw a perfect clay every time. I would recommend this thrower to anyone.

Simply awesome! Easy to use, smooth release 100% of the time, easy clay insertion, no problems
I was using an inexpensive Champion manual thrower that didn't work properly and required a lot of effort. The MTM with the pivoting arm was significantly easier to use. I had a short female friend assist with throwing the clays and she had no problems inserting the clays or launching them. I noticed the clays are launched very consistently with the MTM, in terms of speed and distance. In the box of 90 clays I used at the range, the MTM itself broke 0 of these. The only time the clays broke during insertion or release was because they were already slightly damaged in the box.I would highly recommend this thrower to anyone that shoots clays and doesn't want the expense/complexity of lugging a mechanical launcher or automated launcher.Overall: 5/5 stars, made shooting clays a very enjoyable experience!

Much easier to throw, especially in cold weather
Great thrower for guys who want their girlfriend/wife to throw for them. Thrower is waaaay easier than the previous generation. Makes throwing to yourself much easier while you’re holding a shotgun in the other hand.Only downside is that it won’t work with the first generation accessories like the double thrower or fiber glass rod.

Good thrower - clay fits well
Bought two of these and took it to the desert to do some clay target shooting. It works well. These seemed tough enough. I put a lot of pressure on these hurling the clays as far and fast as I could. They fit the clay nice and tight and most importantly, released well. I don't think we had any case that the clay did not release from the clamp. Glad I bought the moving arm style too. I think I helped throw farther and with good accuracy. Throwing motion was like skipping rocks on water. These seem to be tough and hope they last a long time. Time will tell...but so far I am happy with these. Decent price

Good Quality
I heard that this type of clay thrower would throw that clay birds further. So I decided to purchase this one and a solid one to compare the two. I must say, the solid one is the one I prefer. This one with the piviting arm seems harder to use. Now maybe its the operator, but I just couldn't seem to get the clay birds to go were I wanted them too. I will say though, that I thought this thing would break because I really torqued on it when I threw birds, but it has yet to break, so I am very impressed with the quality. Worth the money just to compare what works for you the best.

Amazing
I've used other clay pigeon throwers before (the straight, non-pivoting kind), but this one let's me launch the pigeons much further. We went shooting and my brother quickly stopped using his spring-loaded thrower in favor of this thrower. After 3 or 4 bad throws, we all got it down and since each throw is different (by a wide margin depending on who is throwing!) it made it more exciting. My brother ordered 2 the afternoon after we went shooting.

Good thrower
Let me just say that you need about 2 practice throws before you get use to the motion on this thing. Its really nice to have my wife be able to throw the pigeons. My buddy and I went to the range and were able to put two boxes of pigeons through it and neither of our shoulders were sore the next day (at least from throwing). My only concern is the wear on the grips for the pigeons seem to be wearing off a little but for the price its worth it.
