Used this to make ramen broth for the kiddo. It's a lunchtime favorite now. Love's the taste of it and how easy it is to use.

This is really tasty but you don’t get much

Flavor is great and it's very good out of the box. But the servings are tiny. To say there are two servings per box really means barely enough to garnish your steak. Unlike other bulk demi-glace in plastic tubs, it's hard to make more or adjust quantities by thinning it out or thickening it up. Given the size of the servings, it's not as cheap as it seems.

Nope. Very salty and tasted like Worcestershire sauce. Didn't detect any veal/beef flavor. Just really bad. Threw unused portions away.

I absolutely love this product! It makes a delicious, high quality demi that is so easy to make! The texture is a smooth & thick sauce that will kick up your recipes several notches! I use it in sautéed mushrooms but it's versatile for many other things. Try it in your pasta sauce! The value is pretty good. The size is perfect for one pan of whatever you're making, but there's 2 packets in each box if you need to make more.

Flavor made an excellent gravy.

This stuff is fine. And since the took away the good Demi concentrate, it’s one of the better ones I’ve found. You just have to make it better Sauté some shallot or garlic a bit, pour in some red wine, let that reduce with a bay leaf for a bit, add in whatever other flavors you might want (I use ancho peppers for one of mine), add the packets (4 goes a long way here), and reduce and adjust flavors. Finish by mounting with butter off the heat to get that nice texture and flavor combo. It’s not great, but you can make it pretty darn tasty.
