I've used magnetic dash mounts for my cars, pickup and big trucks for years and this is the best one I've had. Most I've had previously have a weak spot on the neck somewhere and eventually break with the weight of smart phones. This one though, has a curved support where the weak spot is and so is much stronger. The magnet is very strong and my phone has never fallen off from the dash of my Freightliner big truck, even with the constant bouncing and shaking from driving on the rough, pot-holed pavement I have to deal with. Very, very happy with it.

After trying SO many phone mounts for my car - cup holder expanders, spring-loaded grabbers, magnetic connectors that grip the air vents, suction cups on the dashboard - they were all either ineffective, or simply in an inconvenient place for my preference. I understand many who might want their phones at or close to eye level, for reading maps, or looking up delivery addresses if driving for various services, but this is not me. I wanted something I could glance easily down at slightly, without having to take my eyes off the road too long, and something that would not block my driving vision, air vents, stereo or cup holders. I also wanted something that effectively - and strongly - would hold my iPhone (or any other cell phone) in place solidly, while being easy to grab my phone if need be. The main difference between this product (2, actually, included in the box) and all others? These are super strong, with high quality adhesive, with extremely strong magnets. The biggest difference? They are super small! I attached one to the smooth, but curved surface just behind my transmission shifter, and it held my phone amazingly well. However, given that I have a fairly thick, protective rubberized case on my phone, while the magnet held pretty well directly through the case (probably would've been ok), I wanted it to be solid. Included in the box are multiple-sized metal pieces, which can either be affixed with the attached adhesive strip, or if you don't want to adhere anything to your actual phone or case (I did not), you can simply place the metal disk between your phone and the back side of your phone case, and the case holds the metal disk in place soundly, without slippage. THEN when I placed my phone (with case attached, and the small metal disk inside the case, next to, but not stuck to, my phone) - BAM! That magnet grabbed my phone solidly!! No matter how many speed bumps I went over (I tested it thoroughly), it held tightly, no shaking, no sliding, nothing. Just a convenient, solid magnetic holder. And the best part - when pulling over, or exiting my car, simply grabbing your phone and moving it away from the magnetic immediately, and without any trouble, released the grab, and this tiny little magnetic holder waits for your next trip. I never knew something so effective could be so small - and so unobtrusive. I have no idea why most of the phone holders are SO large, with sometimes complicated contraptions, just to make our phones conveniently available to us. Best car phone holder I've ever had, hands down (ok, pun maybe intended)! :)

Edit 12/2021: the company reached out to me and sent a replacement. This time i avoided using their extra cleaner wipe (branded by mfg) and the holder stuck solidly. I let it stay for a few months in full florida heat, and its still solid. I either got a dud, or the branded wipe was bad. Replacement works great. Original review: Applied to a flat smooth (non textured) area of my dash. Used cleaning pads as indicated. Waited 24hr as indicated. Magnets are strong. I really hoped this would work. Worked fine the first day on the way to work then fell off while i was working. Stuck fine and held great when reapplied, but fell off overnight. I cant get this to work. Also, mfg branded extra Prep pads left a weird tacky goo in area of use that has discolored my dash. Maybe these mounts would work better on a horizontal area, but theyre really awful on a vertical area. I've remounted it 1-2 times a day since i got them, and the last time it fell off, it landed sticky side down on the carpet and i give up. The best thing is the magnets. Very strong. The adhesive is crap.

My son affixed a portion of this to the one I had purchased specifically for my Lexus and did NOT LIKE. So he took the base of the Lexus one and added the magnetic portion of this one and made EXACTLY what I wanted. These did not adhere to my dash and the Lexus brand one just was terribly inconvenient to use,

Very Simple and easy to install. Comes with cloth wipes ext. High Quality stuff included with other than JUST MAGNET MOUNT. I have a Frie Fighter Frient that Swears these magnets are NICE for simple phone mounts. Red/Black/Carbon Fiber is sexy sitting there NOT IN USE. Definately doesnt look gawdy or too sporty even though it is VERY Sporty design. I didnt use ENOUGH "Gorrilla Glue" first time when gluing how base magnets included... aftre a couple days i had to ReGlue. They are STRONG... GLUE GOOD!!!

These are amazing. Bought a set for my husband to use for his two iPhones (one work, one personal). After seeing how strong they were, I bought another set for my work/personal samsung galaxy s25 Ultras (heavy). The magnets are inside thick cases and they still work very well. I'm back to buy two more 2 packs as Christmas gifts. The holders have stayed on through heat waves and cold spells. They fit on very small areas, so are perfect if you don't have a lot of flat spots to mount them. These are the best I've found.

It’s been many months, it’s still Very sturdy. Very handy to use. Two magnets for phone is included. It was perfect for me and my bf’s phones. He changed his phone so have to order another magnet sticker for his new phone. I recommend this over the claw one because after you stick the magnet one time to your phone/phone case, you just touch the mount and it sticks very easily just like that. Only one hand required. It’s sturdy. I find the claw to be annoying and have to adjust to mount especially when driving

Absolutely useless. Does not stick to any surface and when it does it cant hold an iphone. Waste of money.
