Diabetic Baking
I use this in baking as hubby is diabetic. We actually prefer this. I like that the packaging is recyclable plastic as it’s a lot lighter than the glass jars it usually comes in.

This PARTICULAR OFFER £1 per jar was GREAT.
1. Canderel - great, no doubt, nothing new to say about that. Aspartame is SAFE, medically proven do, and better for health than Sucrolose they use in other ‘sweeteners’. Better than Agave syrup. Just because something is ‘natural’ doesn’t make it healthy or nutritious or safe for body. My Dr. told me Agave Syrup is primarily used in making Tequila!!! Point proven. 2. I have absolutely stopped sugar 5 years ago, transferred to Canderel or Silver Spoon (seems to have less offers/reduction prices than Canderel jar) and my blood sugar level is low. Fact. Diabetics should consider this as an alternative to sugar. Sugar is an absolute evil, in general population, (unless you’re an athlete running across the globe), glucose and fructose syrups are worse than sugar, worse than cocaine. No exaggeration. The glucose/fructose slyly put in just as palm oil is in many every day products is DANGEROUS. It is even more REFINED than sugar!! Think about it. 3. STOP SUGAR ALTOGETHER. MAKE THE CHANGE TODAY. Canderel you can trust: and also sweeteners (aspartame) are sweeter taste than sugar, so you end up using less. 4. Can be used for absolutely everything from baking to cereal to whatever you like, in hot milk, anything. Tastes great. Just sweet. No disgusting after taste. 5. Let’s address ‘STEVIA’ or ‘Xylitol’: first of all, it tastes like cr*p. I can’t get it down my throat. It is thick and lumpy and has a definite ‘taste’ to it’, unlike Canderel/Silver Spoon aspartame sweeteners. Imo it is gross. And I have not read any medical research that states ‘Xylitol’, (used a lot in ‘sugar free’ chewing gum) is *better* for your health than aspartame. ‘Xylitol’ Under whatever brand name, commonly ‘Stevia’, is also not economical and significantly overpriced for no reason whatsoever. Never any offers etc. Canderel regularly have the best offers £1 a jar from £2+ usually a jar. If you’re reading this now, Tesco have an offer of £1 a jar. I also noticed when one supermarket puts Canderel on offer for £1, all the others follow suit too. So check out Waitrose + Sainsburys too. 6. This is the ONE AND ONLY ORDER (a ‘one off’ you could say’) on Amazon where I got a 6 pack of jars for £6.00. Never to be seen again on Amazon/Prime.

Sugar
I like this sweetener but I am afraid the cannister was only half full. The last one I bought was full, so I am not very impressed with this one.

No after taste
It is the best sweetener out there no after taste. Use it tea etc or on top of cereal or porridge deserts. You can dip finger in and taste like sugar
