It had been working great!

I purchased this centrifuge for $369 and used it only once. The second time I used the machine it stopped in the middle of the cycle and never would turn on again. Of course, it is now past the time frame I can return it so I'm out the money. It also makes so much noise you need to put in ear plugs!!! Don't even consider buying this item.

I do not recommend this centrifuge as it is extremely loud. I have used several different centrifuges in the past and understand they are not quiet instruments, but this model is so loud you cannot hear your own voice or carry on a conversation in the room with this machine running. You can hear the centrifuge from OUTSIDE the office. It appears to be functional, but is an unacceptable option for any clinical practice as it the noise level is extremely disruptive.

Only a year of barely use and stop working l only use the machine 6 to 10 time per month with properly balancing

Pros: too many to list. I am quite impressed with what I received for the money. You can transition to G's or RPM. This is quiet. The higher the RPM, the higher the noise. I tried to post 2 videos demonstrating how loud it can be. Which is actually quiet. This video shows how quiet it is at 400g. You can hear my wind chimes outside and my refrigerator in the background. They are both louder than this centrifuge. I think the negative reviews on noise could be due to them not ensuring that the internal components are tight. Or a faulty unit maybe. You need to ensure that nothing became loose in shipping, They supply you with a tightening tool. Also, ensure that all of the cups are in place and that you have it on a level surface. Cons: I wish I could turn off the 3 loud beeps for when it is complete.
