Tombow 52181 MONO Aqua Liquid Glue, Refill, 500ml

I've been using Tombow MONO Aqua Liquid Glue for gluing paper items into my journals for many years. It works well with a variety of different types of paper; it has a stronger bond than a glue stick but dries relatively quickly. Anyway, getting this big bottle is an economical solution. It works well for refilling the smaller applicator bottles.

It's long been a mystery to me that hardly any paper artists or crafters I've followed for years do not use this liquid glue. Tombow Aqua has a long list of pros, and virtually no cons. Price, wiggle & dry time, strength, no clogging, quick to reach the nozzle, fine tip applicator, super tiny dots and lines achievable...all the features that the popular, pricey 'forest animal' glue doesnt have except the fine tip applicator. Tombow Aqua never needs a straight pin in the nozzle, not even if the cap has been off overnight. It dries matte. Overspill cleanup is easy, leaves no trace on papers or hands. This glue is amazing. I've only encountered two possible negatives: -When too much glue is used on lighter weight papers, they will get wavey and warp. Only a small, thin application is needed. -Adhering paper to vellum, glossy, laminated or acetate papers with Tombow Aqua hasn't worked for me. Dry adhesive like double-sided tape, roller, dots or an alternative liquid glue specifically designed for these mediums works best.

Worth the buy! Bigger than pictured 16oz worth, enough to refill the smaller Tombow regular sized bottles 10x! Looks more blue than clear in the bottle than the smaller bottles but that’s because there’s just more in the bigger bottle. I use this for gluing collages in my sketch books and for Bible journaling. Dried clear, strong, permanent for paper use. Dries quickly, but still has a few seconds to be able for reposition the materials before it’s stuck. Haven’t tried this for anything else besides paper so can’t vouch there for those things. Will definitely buy it again as I have already! Doesn’t warp the paper once dried like other glues do/can. The bottle comes with a plug for long term storage use and for shipping. Just pop it out and use the tip it comes with to fill up the smaller bottles, which you WILL need it for because the holes for those are very small! Using this to refill, was super easy to use, there are instructions on the bottle if need be. Definitely recommend this product!

1st time trying this glue for my diamond painting and I love it. The glue drys very fast for a small painting but for a larger one you have to wait at least an hour. I do highly recommend it for diamond paintings, I haven't tried on anything else yet.

I like Tombow products. The quality is very good. This is my favorite glue, so instead of repeatedly buying the small bottle, I Finally bought the big bottle to do my own refills. BIG mistake. After the first refill, I went to refill the small bottle again, and was surprised to find a hard surface of dried glue over the nearly full large bottle. I thought I had properly sealed it shut after the first use, but evidently I was mistaken. Very sad. UPDATE: I was able to remove the plug that had formed and can use the glue now. Figured out how to seal the bottle. My mistake. Upgraded my rating.

I've used this glue for years in my card making classes. It dries clear and sticks well with a little wiggle room to adjust. Perfect for paper crafting.
